The scenery was very good and it’s always fun to be on the divide. The drive from Breckenridge was quick and the road is well maintained. Went up in in the Land Rover but could have made it with the Subaru. It was 90 degrees in Denver and a nice cool 65 degrees at the pass. If you’re looking for an off-road adventure this is not it, but if you want some spectacular views then do it. Will go again.

Took the ATV to this area over the weekend. It was the perfect area for any offroad vehicle! However, there were 2 areas shortly after the gate where large rocks (about 1.5-2 ft in diameter fell on the center of the trail. We were able to sneak by on the ATV, but a regular sized vehicle would not be able to get past due to the narrowness around the rocks. Lots of trails in the area that we were able to explore. Wearymann Trail (which we orginally came to do) was completely overrun with a downhill stream. We took the ATV through the water (which was about 4 inches deep) to the first stream crossing (which was about 6-8 inches deep). We turned around because the water that overran the trail only looked to be getting deeper. Most of the trails in the area had snow remaining on them (between 30% coverage to 100% covered in snow). Will wait a little longer for the stream to die down and more snow to melt and then come back. :)

Great time with my son up there. There's a lot of traffic on the trail but overall it was a fun loop.

Great scenic drive. This description was good until describing how to get to Georgia Pass. Failed to mention turning left toward Jefferson and turning right on 54 off 35.

July 15th 2017.
Made it to Webster pass from Montezuma but Webster was snowed in on the south side, so went down from Webster Pass and up Radical Hill. Didn't make it all the way either as Radical was snowed in as well but did make it pretty close to the high point of the trail before stopping for a picnic and heading back down. Very beautiful views from Radical Hill.
Radical Hill lived up to it's name! Some good rocky areas that required a walk before attempting to pick out the best path. 4wd low was a must as was some added clearance.
A really good trail for off roading but not so much for beginners. Large sections of the trail are easy enough but then there are a couple areas that can be a bit really intimidating.
Need to go back so we can complete the trail this year!

1999 Jeep Wrangler, 3" lift, 33x12.5 tires, 4.0L 5 spd. Needed the clearance and the tires, didn't need to use the 9000# winch or unpin the the front sway. So a rocky ride but not a crazy one!

Did Georgia pass today (08/14/2017) in an Outback. Went the North route (bypassed the Glacier ridge). Although the Subaru handled the rocky terrain flawlessly, I would not recommend it to anyone without more ground clearance and off road tires. There are some sketchy areas especially since rain started falling. Also, nearing the end there are many trails that intersect. Either know where you're going or have a detailed map. We made a couple of wrong turns and ended up on the trail much longer than planned.

Basic trail. As far as off road it is a well maintained dirt road. Lots of traffic in the fall (foot, bikes and cars). Very scenic in the fall and a beautiful drive.

Drove this trail for the fall colors and it did not disappoint. As far as off roading it is really just a well-maintained dirt road, no 4x4 needed. When the fall colors are out it is a very busy trail with bike riders, hikers, and cars. The colors are worth it though, but it is busy.

Travelled up about 7:00 AM and what a way to start your day! Great drive, but play it safe at all times. Make sure you have good ground clearance on your vehicle.

Nice mountain views and interesting historical exhibits at the summit. Lots of quantity and variety of wildflowers especially if you get out into the meadows and hike the Black Powder Pass trail from the summit.

Hiked Black Powder Trail with a 6 year old and 8 year old. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed getting to have a snowball fight on The 4th of July in what little snow was left!

From a Guy who has grown up in TN and wanted to try what was out west in off road trails this is by far some of the most fun that I have had easy to drive in my FJ cruiser did not have to engage the locker or traction aid super fun and great views as well as the trail is moderately traveled and not too crazy light traffic for my day definitely going back

Done before and it's a fun trail, but currently the first creek crossing is above the top of my 29in front tires. Might need a week or 2 to calm down.

Still alot of snow and mud on the west side of Georgia pass. It looks like someone had gone through until you get to the trees. That is where the drifts are. It was challenging to try to back up out of there. The rest of the drive was great.

Nice easy road. Dry conditions- at present time the road is clear W/o obstacles, pretty much any normal car could do it (unless you have low profile tires then wouldn't recommend it). Great views and a couple of historic sites. Definitely recommend for beginner 4x4ers or those just looking for a leisurely trail.

I'm only giving this three stars because I didn't get to experience the 4X4 road due to it being closed today. Unfortunately it's hard to find anywhere online to find out about its current status. The ranger station is closed on the weekend in Breck. Call M-F to find out road conditions and save yourself a trip if that's your intent. Trail open to hiking and biking. I will be back. I didn't hike.
