Nice stroll and overview of historical ranch area. All buildings are closed due to COVID, though.

Very flat and bot much shade. It was nice to dip our feet in the water and see some history.

Took the shuttle in since there was no parking. Super quick getting there. Lots of people but a beautiful, breathtaking walk around the lake.

Nice easy walk. Lots of bugs beside the lake. Still a good way to spend 15-20 minutes.

This trail is not meant for a workout by any means. There’s a lot of stopping, reading and photo taking. It’s a great trail to learn about the Holzwarth family and their ranch. You also may see some great animals — we saw elk, deer and marmots aplenty. I’d encourage people to do this trail in the morning as the sunlight makes this spot truly beautiful.

I got to the gorge trail parking lot around 5:20 am, there were 4 spots left. The hike was super difficult but well worth it! The views are incredible & best part about it was no cell service, it’s just you and Mother Nature. I also ran into a deer on my way down and the waterfalls were amazing. The climbing of the waterfall wasn’t too crazy, the way down is so much easier. The only thing that sucked was that it was insanely windy at lake glass and the rest of the hike up to sky pond. Legit thought I was going to fly away.

Very easy and flat crushed rock path. If you have limited mobility or you are traveling with somebody who has limited mobility, this trail still offers spectacular views. Wheelchairs and strollers are possible on this 3/4 mile path.

Beautiful scenery. I agree with others it feels more like a walk than a hike. We went at sunset in hopes of spotting wildlife, but between the wedding that was happening and all of the fisher(wo)men, it seemed too lively for wildlife to come near. Very accessible and great for kids, although if you go after a rain like we did, you will be dodging lots of puddles.

A nice walk around a lake. Saw lots of people fishing. The lot was only 2\3 full at about 10am. There are also picnic tables near the start so you can sit down to relax and enjoy the scene.

Great!

A short trail with some great views. No rocks to trip over, so great for all skill levels.

Super easy flat trail for kids, can make it more adventurous by hitting up some side trails up into the rock outcroppings, which connect to Lily Ridge Trail.

Short, nearly flat hike on a gravel road to an old 1920's dude ranch. Some nice interpretive signs describe the ranch's history. Crossing a baby Colorado River is also a nice feature. No shade, so be prepared for constant sun exposure. Overall, a nice option if you are not up for the more substantial Colorado River Trail.

Short, nearly flat circumnavigation of Bear Lake. Great views of 12,000+ foot mountains across the lake. Very popular trail; you will probably need to ride the free park shuttle to get to the trailhead. Overall, a classic slice of the Rocky Mountains.
