The parks popular campgrounds, beautiful reservoir, picnic and playground areas, extensive trails, and diverse wildlife offer year-round activities for all types of outdoor enthusiasts. Come enjoy our swimbeach too! There is so much to see and do in this peaceful, sunny, beautiful spot of Colorado. Come and enjoy it! The BOAT RAMP is OPEN for the season. All trailered watercraft must be inspected prior to launch. Inspection hours are available in the 'Conditions' for the park.

Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and river! Very easy and enjoyable walk.

Wish the trails were more visible and well-connected. Definitely more of a walk than a hike.

Great mountain biking trail system. It can be hiked but is designed for biking so be careful. These were well designed and allow for some great descents. Lots of cactus so be prepared to repair flats.

Great walk, paved trail. I do this almost daily with the wife and dog.

Easy hike beginning from the near the boat ramp area. Early section of trail is paved and accessible by all before it kicks up on a little more strenuous dirt trial. There are a lot of mountain lions in the area and it is recommended to hike with more than one person and keeps dogs on leashes.

Trails interconnect with one another. Gets kind of confusing but it’s a blast.

Nice trail, we hiked but there are lots of bikers and would be very fun bike trail. Easy hike, good views. Great day!

Fairly easy hike (half paved, half gravel path), amazing rewards! The whole trail is great views! We went on a beautiful Saturday and no one else was on the trail - we had the whole trail to ourselves. A must do if you're in the area :)

One of my favorites. Spring with a little snow is my favorite times to hike this one.

This is a very fun ride. You can either drive to the trailhead which is just about 1/4 mile up the Owl Creek Pass Road, or you can pedal right out of Ridgway along the river trail. There are many short loops that are fun to explore. There are constantly new trails being added. There are also a few illegal trails that can be fun, but they are occasionally being discovered and closed.
