The parks popular campgrounds, beautiful reservoir, picnic and playground areas, extensive trails, and diverse wildlife offer year-round activities for all types of outdoor enthusiasts. Nice trail, we hiked but there are lots of bikers and would be very fun bike trail. Easy hike, good views. Great day!

Fairly easy hike (half paved, half gravel path), amazing rewards! The whole trail is great views! We went on a beautiful Saturday and no one else was on the trail - we had the whole trail to ourselves. A must do if you're in the area :)

very well maintained trail... paved river walk from downtown and many more side trails/single track within the state park... great workout and views of the area's reservoir... True Grit restaurant in town ended my day i this mini Foodie Town

One of my favorites. Spring with a little snow is my favorite times to hike this one.

This is a very fun ride. You can either drive to the trailhead which is just about 1/4 mile up the Owl Creek Pass Road, or you can pedal right out of Ridgway along the river trail. There are many short loops that are fun to explore. There are constantly new trails being added. There are also a few illegal trails that can be fun, but they are occasionally being discovered and closed.
