Decent hike with good views of interesting rocks. The trail is hard to follow in some spots and many other trails cross this one. Having this app to keep us on track was very helpful. This trail is in the middle of Colorado Springs, and traffic noise detracted from our enjoyment along the northeastern portion of the trail.

Trails were pretty washed out. Ended up losing the trail many times. Despite that it was a beautiful hike.

Other reviewers have mentioned trash; I didn’t notice a problem. I love any hike that has you clambering over rocks!

This trail was amazing. Challenging just enough. Definitely very unmarked and I had to use the app map a bunch. But my dog and I will definitely be back.

Not too hard not too easy. Lots of incline. Dog friendly. Lots of bikes moving very fast so be careful.

nice trail but you definitely need the map to know which way to go at the many forks

It’s an ok trail. The rock formations are very nice, but lose their charm over time. Path is very rocky and slippery at times. Ended up on the Edna Nature Trail which was confusing. The walk is also accompanied by the lovely smell of horse manure from the stable nearby. The closeness to the Springs is nice, but much prettier trails within distance imo.

Not an flat easy trail like some hiking apps say it is. Some uphill climbing. Part of this trail is in the trees and parts are hiking over a rocky trail. Easy enough for kids and my pup. But hard enough to make them work a bit. I’d consider it a moderate trail in places. Great place to let everyone explore and work off some energy.

Lovely trail to do as the yucca are blooming, which is roughly now and will continue into mid June I would say. Great views of the front range, pikes peak of course, and Colorado Springs in general. You can also see iconic Garden of the Gods park from here and from a unique vantage point. It is a great walk for all skill levels and has a nice, wide, level path - however it can be windy at times since it is so exposed. Definitely wear sunscreen and a hat or sunglasses.

loved this place until it got trashy.

Very nice hike, it is a little longer than stated, but lots to see and many places to sit, rest, and take in the views.

So hard to figure out what trails are the outer loop. Went to trail run and instead of stopping and pulling out my phone every time there was a fork just kind of winged it. Only ended up with 5.5 Miles though.

A bit confusing at times but I used the app as our trail map. My kids loved it and we will back!

This is close to our house and is rugged enough to be a good workout, but not brutal. Lots of very interesting rock formations. Can be very muddy in spots after snow or rain.

Love this whole area!

Fun. Ended up being quicker than we thought (30 min).

Random trails everywhere. Some litter. Kinda sketchy in some places.

Great views, not too challenging. Second hike since moving to Springs and it was perfect for adjusting to the altitude!!

Great family trail. There is a lot you can learn about COS in the views from Palmer Park.

Excellent mountain biking trails; green, blue and black trails.

Enjoyed the trail. Good workout.

I went here a couple of weeks ago and you will need directions to find your way around. There is also a inner loop were you can let your doggo off leash so my golden retriever liked that.

Took two kids and dog and they really enjoyed it. Couple of steepish spots but if you go slow, kids are fine.

Accidentally stopped tracking. I️ did finish the whole track. Awesome

Went counterclockwise on the trail doing the steep climb... views from the top were beautiful. I didn't see anything untoward. Just families and dogs and hikers and bikers... it was a beautiful day!

I live right down the road from Palmer Park and love it! the full outerloop trail can be hard to follow, but my fiance, dog and I tend not to mind going off trail, plus its nealy impossible to get lost here. If you are looking for an easy place to go with a dog, lot 18 will take you to a trail where your pup is allowed off leash (If under voice control). Many of the reviews certainly peg this park as dirty or prone to drug and alcohol use which is unfortunate. There are a few spots that appear to have a certain crowd, though they are mostly high schoolers likely trying to find somewhere their parents are not. I would suggest trying the Mesa trail or trails off of the Palmer Park overlook. They are clean and offer beautiful scenery as well as friendly regulars to offer tips!

It's good.

Awesome trail. Encountered a runner that did not announce his passing, narrow trail so it was a little startling.
