super difficult to follow this trail just because a lot of portions look like they could be a part of the trail and they're not - I'm usually pretty good but this one was a bit difficult in terms of getting my bearings. otherwise it was a nice change with some different landscape- really pretty views when you get out of the trees, but i also appreciate the trees for their shade

Awesome trail!! Very easy to get off the trail however, as it is poorly marked. Had to have my map open almost the whole time! Otherwise beautiful!

Got there at 8:30 in the morning on a Sunday. Was the first car in the lot hardly any people. Finished by 10:30 parking lot was full but trails still not bad. Got off trail a couple of times but not too bad. Would recommend for a nice leisurely hike.

What a gem and frankly a big surprise! Views of the city, mountains, Castle Rock, and basically a different perspective from the trails up in the mountains. Beautiful little loop trail that gives you great views throughout as you hike through relatively rocky terrain. Mileage is about 4+ with some ups and downs but minimal elevation change. I saw a few bikers but the terrain is definitely better suited to hikers. Try it in both directions!

I love this park, but this particular loop was difficult to follow with all the trail intersections. We ended up taking a couple of shortcuts because there were a few trail sections that were short loop backs that felt unnecessary. We ended up doing an enjoyable 6.7 miles.

Amazing trail I park at the big parking lot at the end of lazy Road and it’s the start of Yucca Trail. It’s a pretty fun hike I actually did it 2 times today. I like to run the trails and there’s a lot of overlooks that leads to with amazing views.

I just moved to COS from Tennessee and I love this spot! I lived in Idaho for 3.5 year's and COS competes with "The City of Trees" aka Boise. Good location, fun trails--but I wish people picked up after their dogs (like I always do), have some courtesy. I love setting up my hammock with my pups and just relaxing to a gorgeous rockface/city view from between two trees. Not far from the apartment makes it so ideal!

Great trail. Not too crowded. Hard to follow at times due to poor signage

Started this hike at 10:30 AM on a Sunday, not too many people but definitely was very crowded by the end around 12:30 PM. I ended up doing about 5 miles as I parked a little bit further away from the starting spot but it was a great hike with a nice breeze lots of sunshine and some shade along the way, highly recommend

This loop is incredibly hard to follow, as there are no signs for it. It follows at least 3 different trails within the park, and you are pretty constantly bouncing between several different trails in the first half of the hike. It evens out for most of the remaining hike after that, but we did find ourselves off trail a few times. Great views. Very little shade through most of it. No problem to complete with my 7 year old son.

Great hike as we begin the 2020 hiking adventures. Trail is amazing with it's varied terrain in and out of tree cover. I only give four stars because it is very poorly marked. Trail maintenance signage is definitely needed in the Palmer Park area. Thankfully the alltrails app helped me to get back on the trail a couple of times!

Really just a pleasant trail with plenty of beautiful views spread out along the way

Tree down, trail is hard to follow without phone, signage on the tail does not match trail on all trails.

Rocky and steep in spots. Not a lot of people on the trail today so it was easy to maintain social distancing.

Amazing trail. Dog (put on a leach ) and family friendly. May get lost but so worth it. Lots of rocks so make sure you have good shoes. I’m sure after quarantine it’ll be crowded. Use the map or a map if you’re not familiar with the trail it’s not well marked AT ALL

if you bring your dogs .. put them on a leash

Perfect! Walked this with 5 kids and did 2 miles total out and back . Safe and fun

Seems like thousands of of trails! Bring a GPS. Trails dry but that's going to change with snow next week.

Beautiful views but horribly labeled need anymore markers. My 3.7 trail was 4.4 because of many wrong ways. Had a few moments of panic being lost.

Good trail, very little shade. It’s not marked the greatest either, had to check map frequently, but will definitely do again.
