Nice and fun! Close to Denver! It’s connected to a bunch of other trials too! Pretty easy and relaxed and you seem some bikers.

Beautiful views, a lot of coverage, and pup friendly!!

very nice well kept trail, has a couple cool spots off to the side with nice mountain views, and on the opposite side has a nice view of Denver, ruins were very cool too

Easy hike with great views

Easy for kids and fun for the whole family!

Very well kept trails, easy trek before sunrise to top of Mt. Falcon with great views of Denver

Pretty empty trails even on a Saturday morning. Lot of exposure so bring plenty of water and lots of sunscreen. This route is up and down so no sustained climbing. No incredible vistas but pretty views throughout. Wildflowers and butterflies everywhere - very pleasant hike.

Lovely trail with a few options to go harder or stay easy. Definitely the on the Easy side of Moderate. Saw lots of wildlife (lots of birds, a few deer).

great views

Great views! Preferred doing this section uphill and turkey trot downhill

Awesome for trail running. Good elevation gain and totally runnable. We started at the east entrance near Morrison. We did a loop of about 18km and it took us at a moderate pace like 2h15min. You can run this trail in the Winter, bit it all depends. We did it in January and we only found a couple of patches covered with snow.

really nice little hike. great for dogs, not sure why rated as moderate because its pretty darn easy.

Do the Devils Elbow trial!!

Very pretty hike with nice views from the shelter and tower. Added on the Old Ute Trail loop which is shady.

Get here early or later in the day. Most of the trail is on the side of a mountain, and there's VERY little shade.

Very easy at first but gets harder the second half. Not a lot of shade. Very fun hike for a beginner like me. Just don't push yourself too hard.

very nice trail.... thought it was more moderate than intermediate... then reached a steep area at the end.... that made it intermediate. great views!

Nice hike. A lot easier than I anticipated. It was mostly really clean and wide trail.

Nice hike for families, went on a weekday and had lots of time alone on the trail. Hike to the tower was challenging for my 6-year-old (coming from sea-level) but she made it and the views were stunning!

Great little Hike with History

So pretty! Great views.

Beautiful views and plenty of wild flowers. Limited shade, so might be better to go in the early morning.

Seemed to be a hidden gem. Great trails and not too many people around. Numerous times we found we had the trails all to ourselves. Well shaded in most places and great views from the old cabin and lookout tower.

Fun and athletic hike

We completed this section of the park with our four and six year old. They really dug the 'castle ruins' and we saw a lot of wildlife. Even on a Sunday morning with the parking lots full and many families on the trail we still ended up with some quiet stretches where we were alone. The hardest part for our youngest was the climb to the fire tower, but he made it and the views from up there were amazing! We had a picnic at the Eagle Eye Shelter before we made our way back down.

The mount Falcon park trail system is large enough to keep you busy all day with hiking and biking but still being close to Denver with overlook views of the city, red rocks, and the mountains make this a place I'll be going back to.

Relatively easy walk with some sections being fairly populated with people.
