Great beginner trail!

pretty. I have always liked hiking by the water. Strolled with my dog on Mary’s and wrangler. Fairly easy. And got really good view of the river. Lots of MTBs, though.

Great beginner to moderate skill trail. The views of the Colorado River and surrounding scenery is fantastic. It is a popular riding and running area, so at peak times it can be fairly busy, but everyone I’ve met has been respectful and polite.

Rustlers Loop is a fairly easy and quick 3+ mile loop that overlooks the Colorado River for a bit in one section. It’s generally a single track trail that is also popular with MTBs so keep an eye out for them as they may not see you until they’re on you.

Enjoyed the walk with my dog, saw lots of mountain bikers and had to keep a sharp eye behind me! Still a beautiful desert trail though, not difficult at all and was completed in 2 hours. Good view of the Colorado river halfway through.

Did Steven's loop about a month ago, I think it was 2.8 miles, a lot of fun with slot canyons and a good view of the Colorado.

It's ok but go early to beat the heat

Lots of up and amazing views. Definitely a technical hike. Be prepared to share with mountain bikes.

Beautiful trail that winds through the desert and leads to several river overlooks! It was a perfect short hike for the evening once the temperatures cool off.

Gorgeous views. Go earlier in the morning because it does get hot.

took this for my first real mountain biking trail. It is marked with hints for newbies like me and the difficulty increases just enough to challenge new riders. the sights are beautiful! and the trail is a blast!!

I imagine it's a better trail for mountain biking. So so for hiking. Nice overlook of the Colorado River at one point.

They rate this trail as "hard". That's a F$!#ing understatement. If you are a beginner mountain biker you are going to walk. A ton. This trail is beautiful but extremely technical. There are huge panoramas the entire day. Do you enjoy carrying your bike up 400 foot hills covered in loose rock? I hope so because you will get your chance. I set out to do the entire Kokopelli but cashed in my chips after this leg. The campsite at Westwater is very primitive, but AMAZING!!!!

More of a mountain biking trail than a hiking trail for sure. This is one of the trails I learned to bike on. Great for beginners (just technical enough to be challenging but not dangerous). The views from the canyon rim are hard to beat on bike trails.

You start with a small climb... a little rocky, but nothing too bad, then the trail winds across the canyon rim for several miles. Quite a fun trail!

I am just beginning Mtn biking but husband is very experienced: We started at Lion Loop trail head, it was just to tough a terrain for me. However, my husband did Moore Fun Trail and loved it, it is technical especially for a first ride of the season (March 6). We headed down to Rustler's Loop it was a fun run with all sorts of technical situations easy enough for me to do (mostly.) We had a lot of fun, great overlooks of the Colorado River. Once we finished that trail my husband headed over to Mary's loop to finish up his day, he enjoyed it said it was fun. I hope to make it back next week, it was tough for a beginner but a great ride too! I am giving this a four star as it was my first experience, my husband though says its a five!

Easy loop. Good for beginner/intermediates to get used to this type of trail. 4 stars for it's access to other trails. Also, the loop is more like 6.5 miles rather than the advertised 8.5 as AllTrails suggests.

This is a very fun trail with excellent views. Because this trail is rated as intermediate, I was caught off guard by the several hike-a-bike sections. But the rideable parts definitely live up to the intermediate rating.

This is a really fun loop, and pretty easy. But the best part is that it accesses many other excellent loops such as Horsethief, Steve's Loop, and Moore Fun.

Just finished the entire kokopelli trail from Fruita, CO to Moab, UT. Pure amazing. We cut off after the first day to do the western rim trail, and I was in awe the entire time, definitely an amazing cut off for technical biking during the trip. If there is a best time to do the trail it is now. All the roads have been incredibly maintained. The la sal loop portion even got freshly paved!! Incredible climbing and heart stopping downhill. If you haven't done it, do it now!!! Thank you to South Park Adventure Guides for bringing me along!!

Good trail. Mostly ridable with some tech sections. Anyone who can clean the entrance is my hero.
