Beautiful hike. Did the loop in 3 hrs starting at 0730. Some steep parts but the trail is nice and smooth. The quiet on the top was awesome. Just birds and chipmunks. Incredible views. Some confusion on the trail in certain areas since its not well marked but easy to figure out

there were no signs a few feet into the start and we ended up going straight up the mountain. had never used the trail app before but turned it on after we had walked an hour at what felt like a straight vertical climb. We finally found the real trail which was to the left initially and the walk down was incredible! Do take fruit and water and sunscreen.

I really liked this trail. Definitely wear a hat and take plenty water as not a lot of shade farther up, but beautiful. We were the only ones on the trail that day. Where my profile pic was taken.

Started at 12th and Palmer going counter-clockwise on the route. The first third was not marked so there was a bit of route finding.
Went in mid-April and only came across other hikers as I ended. Great views throughout. Minimal shade, so an earlier start and additional water in the summer would be required.

Awesome hike! Sparsely shaded but the views were the best for that area!! We did this hike on a Wednesday in July and loved that it wasn't crowded at all. Also, if you want to loop back into town go right when you come to the "T". It won't have an arrow pointing in that direction but a local suggested it and went well for us since we parked right by the trail head.

We hiked part of this trail last weekend. Not busy at all and didn't see any mountain bikers. Lots of uphill climbing but great views of Glenwood. It levels out towards the top. We hiked for about 2 hours and from what we can tell it was about 2.5 miles and 1000' elevation gain. Hit up the Brewpub and then the hit springs to finish out the day.
