Love this route on my bike! Not for the faint of heart and be ready for some tarantulas and snakes. I recommend full gear and a solid bike with plenty of water because you'll be hiking back up to ride this one all day!

Beautiful scenery! I couldn't find the exact trail I intended to hike, but just picked a trail and started to follow it. I'm so glad I did. It was a pleasant surprise around each bend. I passed a 'pet cemetery' where people mark stones for there deceased pets. It was a beautiful site to see. So many people seem to visit this exact place and it is so well kept. There were amazing views of the reservoir, and high desert. I would recommend checking out the Pueblo Reservoir to anyone!

Medium difficulty due to loose rock; wear hiking shoes if you have them.

I almost stepped on a rattlesnake where the grass had grown up on the trail a bit. Know what to do for bites before you hike here. I had talked to a park ranger before and he insisted there were no rattlers but my dirty shorts say otherwise.

Very relaxing ride to calm my PTSD.

This trail wasn't particularly difficult. There are some cool areas with small canyons. It's not very well labeled and it's quite easy to get turned around, so make sure you get and understand a map, or the alltrails app, which saved my bacon after I got turned around.

Its a great afternoon hike, sunny but you get to see a lot of lizards

Super pretty and good for the kiddos.

Visiting from Washington state. Needed a nice hike.. This was a great fit. Great scenery...

Easy to find trailhead and very difficult to get lost. Early mornings are best to beat the heat and no shade - wear sunscreen. Public restrooms near trail too.

This is a great hike.. Very little shade, bring lots of water.

Awesome, awesome, awesome.
