Great with my 3 year old. The waterfall was a good place to eat lunch and cool off.

Well maintained trail, beautiful views. Fairly quick in and out. Lots of traffic; go early if you like more solitude.

This is a really cool hike. My friend and I were looking for something to do in the evening. With horsetooth rock only being a 30 minute drive out of Fort Collins. It was the perfect option. the scenery was very cool and the local deer are very friendly. It's not a hard hike, however when getting to the horsetooth you do have to scramble up the rocks which could be difficult for some. Overall a very fun hike and much recommended!

Great hike. The first 3/4 has no shade and today was clear skies and 84.After that beautiful views, breezy, well maintained trails and more shade.

It was amazing a scenic adventure great for kids an awesome first hike!

Fun hike with kids! Provides a fun place to refresh in the cool waterfall pool.
Water was flowing nicely when we visited on 6/9/18

Love this hike! Have fun!

Loved this hike. It was somewhat hard to find w/Google Maps. Ignore Google directions. Do not turn onto Riverside, keep on hey to entrance

This time of year the crowds are out daily, not just on the weekend. Get there early for good parking. After you hike to the falls, take Spring Creek trail to see a pretty little valley and lots of birds (if you go early in the morning). Lots of wildflowers are out right now, too. Because it's breeding season, you'll have to turn up Soderberg trail where it intersects Spring Creek since the rest of Spring Creek trail is blocked from use right now. You can either hike up to the tooth or head back to the parking lot from there. Great hike!

I did this trail Sunday. Thought it was great! Beautiful views! Lots of friendly hikers!

This was a fun hike and a decent workout.

Great little loop! It helped to have the map because some of the signs San be confusing. Absolutely gorgeous views. If you are an out of towner, take it slow.

great, easy to climb trail. good for families or out of towners. the falls were coming down pretty well today which made it nice. went on a Thursday at 11am and the parking lot was nearly full but the trail wasn't overwhelmingly packed.

Easy trail to hike. Overrated and not as beautiful as I expected from others reviews.

Not just a trickle when we hiked this evening around 6! The weather was perfect, scenery was beautiful and an easy 1 hr there and back home (including some time at the falls).

Hiked this on 5/20/2018 in light rain. The horsetooth peak scramble was a bit sketchy in the rain and would not recommend doing this unless you are confident with your walking. Good view from down low, but at summit was in the rain cloud and couldn't see anything. Still very cool.

Enjoyed this hike even though it was hot!! We went in the morning so not too bad. Well maintained path. Last part was the best! Walking up the rocks!

Easy family hike, lots of people.

This is a great family and dog friendly loop hike. There is a good amount of water flow this time of year (Early May) and tons of blossoms.

The Audra Culver Trail was lovely. I would highly recommend taking it on your way up to Horsetooth mountain. As for South Ridge Trail, it’s okay. The wild flowers are in bloom right now (May 11) it’s wonderful!

Good hike and good views... a little steep for kids after the falls.

We enjoyed this hike, it's a bit exposed to begin, but you end up with about half the trail in the shade. We did a slightly different route heading up Horsetooth Rock Trail (instead of South Ridge) and coming down Audra Culver Trail. The top of Horsetooth is very windy so hold on to your hat and anything that might get blown off. You get a nice view of the Rocky Mountains... the day we were up we could only see Long's Peak as there was some smoke in the air from fires, but supposed you can normally see Pike's Peak as well on a clear day. The wind was pretty strong on the Audra Culver trail, it kept us nice and cool.

Great! A very fun hike for a family. Dog-friendly, beautiful trail! The fall was an actual FULL WATERFALL!!! I would definitely recommend for anyone! :)

This was my very first “hike” and I loved it. I’m traveling for work and had some time before I had to be in the office. So many pretty views! And some good exercise.

Steady incline with a well worn path. The gain and altitude may be challenging if you do not have a decent level of fitness and/or are not acclimated to the thinner air.

Easy, short trail that is doable for anyone. The falls are most active in the spring during the snow melt.
