Easy hike with a great reward.

Beautiful hikes. Pretty easy hiking with great views!

Pretty easy hike, paved mostly so great for littles. Awesome rock formations to check out too!

A terrific trail to view and appreciate the beauty contained within Garden of the Gods Park. Not only outstanding scenery but definitely less traveled than the central garden paths. Be certain to keep a watchful eye out for Bighorn Sheep on the Northern portion of the trail. Plenty of photo opportunities along this trail featuring plenty of fabulous red rock formations.

The Palmer Trail and the Susan G. Bretag trail wrap around the outside of the park to offer some great distant views of the rock formations! Great opportunity to get away from the crowds.

The park opens early at 5AM, so I recommend getting there before the crowds so you can truly enjoy the rock formations, which are incredible!

Beautiful views and easy.

Great trail with awesome views. Easy hike. However: Beware, there is lots of horse traffic on this trail. We got stuck behind a horseback tour & my dog spent our whole hike trying to eat horse poop! Plus, it stank. Not very pleasant.

Fairly easy trails to follow. Lots of options to make it a longer hike. We took our two small dogs and they had a great time. Trails weren't crowded, but we did see other people out hiking or trail running. Better earlier in the morning for dogs. Not too many places to refill water so plan accordingly especially if bringing your dog. We did see warning signs for rattlesnakes but didn't see any snakes. There is a nice picnic area and restrooms about halfway along the hike at Pullout 13, Scotsman Picnic Area.

So amazing! Trail was mild and easy to follow. Seeing pictures before we went I thought we would need to climb into some crazy spots for the views but that wasn’t the case at all!

Awesome and stroller friendly!

Soooo beautiful! I had a great time.

So beautiful. Park in the Nothtrailhead Parking lot and cross the street to start the trail. :) if you start on the right, you'll come out on the left and vice versa. follow some of the recordings.

Beautiful area. We went this past April and it snowed about 2-3” while there which made for some awesome pictures! Really like Garden of the Gods. Very peaceful place.

Very pretty hike. The entire trail is paved and fairly flat. One of the easiest and prettiest hikes in the Garden of The Gods. If you're lucky you might see some rock climbers scaling the beautiful red cliffs! Water fountains and bathrooms located at the trail head.

We enjoyed our hike of the outer trails. The trails are dirt any different elevations. Between the map we picked up at visitors Center and the signage never got lost. we ended with the main trail that is a cement path. You can go off onto other dirt paths and miss the crowds. It appears most people want to stay on the cement path and walk at their leisure.

Very easy hike. Not really for a workout, or you need to trail run it. We started out on this loop which takes you around the Garden of Gods, then halfway we cut through the inner circle which brings you closer to the rocks. Definitely worth creating your own paths of the different trails that take you around and through the Garden of Gods

The entire Garden of the Gods Park is 5 Stars.
All the trails are easy and there are a few rocks to climb should you choose.

Perfect way to spend half a day or so.
Recommend getting to Balanced Rock early if you plan to take pictures.

Great views... many different trails near and around.

One of my favorite places on my road trip to Colorado this year! So gorgeous and easy trails to relax but enjoy the outdoors. Warning it is very crowded!!! Fun places to boulder or even rock climb!

The views were amazing, but the sheer number of people was huge drawback. Still, I don't regret braving the crowds. Lots of great photo-ops. Fun Jr. Ranger program available for youngsters.

not really what i would consider a hike, but a nice pull off to a cool spot.

Easy peasy fun loop with rewarding views and awesome photo opportunities.

Fun, easy hike with good views. Trail and area is highly populated.

One of my favorite places to go and walk around.

Lots of people, but worth it because beautiful and unique rock formations. Make the trip if in the area. And it’s free.

Gorgeous! And easy with kiddos.

My first Family hike when my son and myself moved out there! Uncle Matt took us and we kept coming back... deer, bunnie's, great history, instruction available for climbing the rocks, paved and off road paths, and kissing camels.. I loved it, and my 4 yr old Lars learned to like exercise and make friends here.. it's best description is heaven..
