Good walk not much of a hike. Not too icy but if you have spikes they wouldn’t hurt. We wrong without spikes just runners

There was a variety of people out with a variety of footwear. We wore our snowshoes, but saw people with and without spikes, trail-running, cross country skiing, and REI had a tour group for fat tire biking. The snow was mostly packed down with one icy spot. The hike was easy and I never felt a need to stop and catch my breath. Overall a pretty good trail.

Easy local short outing. Popular community loop.

Great hike with beautiful sights! My mom didn’t think she’d be able to do a 4 mile hike, but felt amazing when she finished it. A good spot for a relatively easy hike in the woods!

Nice, pretty easy trail. Good for when you want to get out in the woods but aren't looking for anything strenuous.

Loved it. Nice even path with few rocks thru trees. Got heart rate going a couple of times, otherwise idyllic forest walk/hike. Very lightly traveled on a Thursday morning. Saw some deer and lots of adorable Chip & Dales. Would do this again.

Well-worn path for easy hiking. beautiful area. We went on a Sunday afternoon, and although there were plenty of cars in the lot, we encountered very few people on the trail. We saw a full-black Abert's squirrel and a possible marten. Many wildflowers still in bloom.

We are beginner bikers and this was a good trail ride for our first time here. We came late afternoon on a Sunday and there were just a handful of people walking the trail and only a few other bikers. Good number of up slopes to work ya out and downslopes for fun. Beautiful scenery and wildlife! Will definitely be back!

Perfect for novice riders. Easily can finish the loop in 30-40 mins. Steady climb with some technical spots. Can get pretty busy in weekends. Downhill can get fast so beware of hikers and even horses at times.

Easy, wide trail. I only gave it three stars because there aren't views of anything on the trail, and it was super busy. It is a nice easy trail through some woods and across a small marsh. I encountered multiple groups of camp kids and counselors on bikes-at least 4 different groups of 8-12 kids. Lots of other hikers too. Way to busy for me. I was there from 11 am-12 pm, so maybe it was just bad timing.

The directions from All Trails brought me to the secondary parking area that has only a few spots. Know that there is a main parking area a little further north on Hwy 73 with lots of spots.

Nice simple trail. Good escape for cooler temperatures than Denver, but can be pretty warm too. Lots of trees trail and great for dogs.

Perfect for a quick 4 miles or so. Beautiful

Went last weekend. Easy trail - no drastic uphill climbs. Views and scenery were wonderful. Not too crowded either!

I actually bumped into this place. Decided to hike here instead of going up further because it was Memorial Day weekend. Enjoyed the beautiful trails, trees and the area! Great place to bring the family and have a bbq. Even tho you have to share the trails with mountain bikers, still a nice hike.

Not a ton of people on the trail even during the middle of the day on a Sunday. Well maintained trail and good for trail running.

My favorite place to go walking and trail running.

A simple strait forward walk in the wood.

Good hike. It was nice walking in the lodge pole pines which helped break the wind. Short but sweet
