Really nice and amazing view

Awesome hike!

Amazing. As good as it gets!

Hiked this trail yesterday evening. Encountered a few slick areas, but very manageable, even without spikes. Took 2 hours there and back.

a few too many road crossings for my taste. saw plenty of mule deer towards the begining of the hike. got a bit slippery with ice and snow which made it slow going.

Well it was super icy today but it sure was easy if you have spikes on your shoes! Slippery for sure but if you’ve done it before you know to just keep pushing. If you haven’t done it before.. well, keep pushing! Beautiful fun tough work out. I always take the 1st and 2nd loop, i even took my parents from Texas in today and we finished it in 4 hours... beautiful in the snow if you ever wanna get it :)

Great hike. More challenging than I thought especially attempting it immediately upon arriving from the east coast. Well worth it once you get to the arch.

Great hike, but beware that it is very slippery and icy with the recent snow. I underestimated how slippery it would be on the way down and I fell several times. Definitely come prepared and watch the weather before you go!

lovely trail with a noice rock at the top pretty busy though

Difficult but great view at the end!

Love this hike. Breathtaking views valley

Short loop around main base area of Chataqua. Great views of the flatirons all around

Great quick route to do some stairs and elevation gain quickly and come back the same route or loop around a number of ways.

Flatirons are so beautiful and such a classic hike

The long way to get up to Flagstaff summit from the base of the canyon. Climb up gregory canyon then cross the road where there is parking just off flagstaff road if you'd rather start with a smaller amount of elevation to climb.

There are many routes to the top! be aware when you finish the switch backs that run doing the creek there is a false summit. Go past the trail marker and you'll have to head down for a little bit before a short climb back up to reach the Arch.

It was pretty busy today. There were lots of dog walkers. The weather was great right before the snowfall expected tonight. Terrain was pretty easy - an occasional big rock jutting from the trail but not bad. Great views though!

Challenging for a recreational hiker & worth it - beautiful views, the arch did not disappoint!

Started at 7am to beat the crowds (and get parking)! Hiked around to the back of the first flatiron to view the front range.

Really beautiful hike with flowers and an amazing view, very well worth it. make sure to bring lots of water!!

A lot of trail options and easy to navigate. Somewhat muddy.

Awesome hike. Trail is well traveled and moderately difficult in some areas.

great views and rocky trail makes for low mud on the rare rainy days in BoCo.

fairly relaxed trail with a lot of optional tie ins to add length.

We got lost several times on other side trails and had to turn around and walk back so make sure you pay attention to the route and signs. Other than that, a beautiful hike. We did encounter several piles of fresh bear sh**. So be cautious. :)

The arch itself is beautiful. But it is clearly not a trail that deserves a "hard" rating. Most of the hikers on this trail were in casual wear and made it to the top. We saw more than one woman carrying her purse and wearing flats. If you have the gumption and the time, you will make it to the top.

Amazing trail! Why is everyone complaining about the crowd. If I was the only one out there struggling, is it even really worth it?

Hiked 10/4. Mesa trail to fern. Strenuous constant uphill the last mile. Fun scramble at the top!

Beautiful hike, even through the haze. Awesome views - and loved the drive up!

Great but strenuous hike! We took Homestead trail, which is a small offshoot to the left as you’re heading in, to Shadow Canyon. We enjoyed Homestead because it’s less trafficked and smaller than Mesa trail, which is sort of like walking on a rocky road, but you can take either to get to Shadow Canyon. Shadow Canyon gets to be quite difficult, but is well worth it when you reach the top. Excellent views into the mountains and of Boulder. It took us 3 hours to reach the summit with a few short breaks, and 2:20 to get back to the parking lot. We were worked but satisfied!
