My kids when here & loved it.

This trail should be removed from Alltrails because it's not available to the public. Frustrating!

1,000 spur trails but enjoyable!

Nice 4.2 mile loop on a wide trail! Dog , horse and bike friendly . Few hills . Protected area in the center . Look out for deer !

We really enjoyed this walk. It was a great area to walk as a group and let the dogs have fun! The locals are very nice

Nice easy hike. Took me an hour and a half to hike the loop. Stopped a few times to talk with some hikers and read a few informative signs.

Well maintained. Perfect for trail run or just walking dogs on a summery day (plenty of shade).

Great ride on the bike some good ups and downs, under-construction so main trail was kind of a pain to follow

Road to the trailhead says private property no trespassing...did not hike this trail

Easy trail, some ups and downs but nothing very tiring. Trail is wide packed gravel. Lots of trees for a good shady walk. Many trees are burned from the Black Forest Fire but life is returning to the area naturally. Visited this trail on horseback and had a really nice ride. A couple of good spots for a nice view of Pikes Peak.

Safe, easy for kids and great teaching lesson about the fire here.

Good trail, if only that wildfire hadn’t gone through, about a whole mile is in the sun, with views of some burnt trees. The rest is in the shade and beutiful. Conveniently, there is a park about 3/4 of the way through to fill up your water and rest. Good for family. Recommend the area to families with toddlers.

nice easy ride for getting back into riding

We had hiked the Black Forest Regional Park before the fires four years ago. Then I'd agree on a 4-5 star rating. It was a lush and beautiful park. Now is a bit of a wasteland. If you aren't after scenery, it is a nice easy hike, great with kids and dogs but it certainly isn't very visually appealing. It seems a little like hiking through Mordor. I just didn't want anyone to be disappointed by the high ratings. I'd imagine most were give before the 2013 fires.

This easy trail has nice areas shaded with Pine trees and also has sun drenched areas due to the wild fire that moved through the area a few years ago. Trail 360 on YouTube

The trail shown outlined in red is no longer easily accessible about the halfway point. Looks like local homeowners are blocking access with logs.

Good little hike. Still a lot of burned area

A few rough patches if you're bringing a stroller (soft sand for trail), but still a great trail!

Fun trail. Definitely great for the entire family!

A favorite go-to trail near my home when I feel the need to take a relaxing stroll or trail run. Great shaded areas.

Easy but pretty

Wide rolling trail. Easy ride must share with hikers and people on horseback.

Nice trail but so much horse poop!!!

nice quite

one of my favorite places!

A very nice, mellow hike through Black Forest. I've done this in summer when things are dry and I've done it in the winter as a chance to try out some new snowshoes. All in all, it's a great place to hike!

Unfortunately, due to the fire, a bunch of it is burned out. But things are starting to grow back. It will be much prettier again in the next couple years. Maybe come when it snows.

First time saw a woodpecker and caught my second Pikachu, that's about it.
