Hot and open. Go early but a nice trail. Easy with not much elevation gain but long.

Very pretty views & peaceful on a weekday. However, trails are not well marked at all so we got lost multiple times, part of the trail is along the side of the road and it’s $10 just to get in. Don’t think it’s worth the parking fee considering it’s not even well marked. Skip it and go somewhere free (with well marked trails)!

The trails were not marked well at all and it is $10 to park- not impressed although the views were pretty.

Beautiful views with the recent snow. The mud was worth it. Take the coyote warnings seriously!

Was a nice hike. Mud, snow, and Ice did not deter us. Felt great to be outside.

On a January day, 59 degrees, full sun on clear paths and trails, a great way to escape for a couple hours. Yes, there are lots of geese (but so do the golf courses). The flowing brook was picturesque with ice covering some of it. Ice fisherman were on the reservoir- no idea if fish were caught. The trails were not crowded and the bikers respectful.

Not worth it in December, still have to pay $10 to get in and the trails and discussing with goose poop. Go somewhere else and skip this crap trail.

Ugh, I am waffling between 3 and 4 stars. I would give 3.5 if I could. Here are the details... PROS: Clean, great pathways (although gets narrow on way back), TONS of bathrooms (yes!) pit toilets, so they are open, pretty quiet, even though you do walk near a road, long distance. CONS: Some parts of the path were NOT marked well...you must go down a path and see if you are right and find another sign. OR just look on the all trails app (you will still have signal, which is nice) The path is sort of boring (at least in November, not sure about spring/summer!) and the best part was ascending up the hill to see Red Rocks and the Denver skyline. THE START OF THE PATH WAS NOT CLEAR! You park and go across the street to the start of the path, not directly where you park! We thought we were right and we were not starting right...ugh, had to start a few times. $10 entrance fee (although, apparently there are ways around it) PRO/CON: No shade (depends on time of year!! Could be pro OR con!) SUMMARY: All in all, a "good" hike, but not one I will do again, especially with the $10 entrance fee! If you live in the area and have a yearly pass, this would be great for you. This is fairly flat, with just a few incline spots.

Horse poop everywhere. I don’t think the hike is worth the $10 to get in.

Super chill and mellow trail. Bring some water as the sun can dry you our pretty quick. Take advantage of the water at the top of the 'mountain' and also near the golf course. They say it is only for golfers, but do it anyway--you deserve it.

I do not recommend this entire loop for running! While most of the run is on trail the last 4 miles or so (clockwise) are on winding switchback roads with minimal shoulder width. Those were the fastest miles ran of the whole loop purely out of fear!

4 stars because of the multitude of trails! I️ have run over a thousand miles just in this park, there are SO many combinations of trails you can run almost any desired distance once you have figured out and mapped them all! It’s generally flat unless you decide to run up the big hill separating the park from the golf course. And you can stay by the river in the lake adding beautiful sights and sounds to your run. I spot a herd of deer or buck regularly❤️ extremely light traffic Monday through Friday mornings. Snow and rains dry quickly. Free parking across C-4 70 at the entrance to Bandimere Speedway. A well trafficked park-and-ride.

Did this mid October. Great trail.. a lot of mountain bikers.. so close to the city of denver. Had no idea this was here! You do need money for parking $10.00. The lake is off the trail but there's benches and even a little floating dock down by it .

Have to pay $10 to get in for the day. Great loop, go early before it gets too hot (little to no shade)

Sunday, August 13, 2017

Great 8 mile loop if you park off of Morrison and drop in.

Note: FEE! There's a $10 fee to get in to the park. Nice views of Denver and the mountains, lots of mountain bikes! Fair amount of exposure and not a hike I'd pick for a hot, cloudless day. There are a ton of different trail options and I'm not sure that we successfully stayed on this the whole time.
