Moderate climb to top. Great views. Easy return to car. Nice combo of easy walk with some scrambling near the top. We took our time and smacked on top and were back to the car in well under two hours.

Great hike on a on early Super Bowl Sunday! Was not overly busy with people. Very muddy and slippery on the North side trail of Pulpit Rock.

awesome trail. you can can climb to to the top in less than ten minutes if you want

Beautiful day for this trail, but only if you've got traction for your boots. It's either snowy and icy, or it's muddy and slick where it's melted over. Wouldn't recommend today in boots alone, and definitely NOT in trail-runners. But, with microspikes it's very doable, and the views are delightful!

Very pretty the mud is common with the season we are in. Just know that the north side of the trail is extremely rocky. The south side [which is closer to the university] is more smooth for if you have children, more pups, etc.

Moderate hiking trail with plenty of room to adventure! Be sure to follow the trail map - there are quite a few “mini” trails throughout the route. Overall, great hike!

Although unmarked, I enjoyed the trails :)

Took my own route to get to Pulpit Rock so I haven't taken the entire trail. beautiful open space, easy path, but wasn't impressed by the view of the town. It was really fun to climb the rocks though!

View was great, however getting up and down was a challenge. Tons of off trails that are easily confused as the main trail, it was really frustrating. I tried to follow the directions on this app, but it was almost impossible. It was an ok hike that I probably won’t do again, but like I said, the view is dope.

Super easy trail. I parked at the first parking lot (there's 2). The trails aren't marked so you just have to work around them. I ended up heading straight towards pulpit rock and climbed up for a challenge. There is a trail that goes all the way around it for an easier climb up to the top. Went during the week around 2 and it was moderate traffic with drones and selfie takers. Took about 20min and less to reach the top. Easy Hike, not very peaceful, but the overlook is cool

good quick spot for a hike in the city. nice view over the town. could be a little steep getting to the top for some.

Nice light hike in the city.
Going counter-clock-wise is a gentle assent with summit toward the end and a steeper quicker decent back.
Lots of alternatives shortcuts if you don't feel like hiking all 4 miles

Recommend checking out right before sunset. Nice view of the city and the sun going down behind the mountains. Don’t forget a flashlight if you choose to do so

Trail isn’t well marked and there’s a fair amount of scrambling, but for how close to the springs it is, it’s fun! Great view around sunset.

great hike but none of the trails are marked. If you want to stay on the trail you'll need to walk with your phone in your hand and this app open. Not my idea of a good hike

This looks easy to get to from the parking lot, but the trail isn't clear, as a lot of use trails spin off and head to the peak. I think we took one of the more difficult ones, and it was a bit of a bushwhack to get up there. Lots of kids up there though, so definitely not ridiculously hard. Did it on a whim after seeing the rock from the Trader Joe's parking lot on our way through town. Sunset was nice from the top.

Nice hike. You can take the scenic route which winds around the mountain, or take a more direct route if you just want to scramble to the top. I went on a day after a 5-inch snow; while the snow was mostly gone, the trail consisted of slick mud. Lots of slipping and sliding around and carried a couple of extra pounds of mud on my boots for the duration. A little shocking to round a switchback while ascending and suddenly there are multi-million dollar houses overlooking the trail. I'm sure it's a spectacular view for them; kind of ruins it for the rest of us. The payoff is getting to the top; you can stand on top of the tallest rock spire that you can see from the interstate. I went on a cool Wednesday afternoon and had the place to myself, but I noticed that the parking lot was small and I guess would only hold a dozen or so vehicles.

trails are not marked at all. beautiful scenery at the top. there were quite a bit of cars in the parking lot when we got there & left and we noticed in two separate sections, broken glass from a car window...we're thinking people breaking into cars? wouldn't be surprised after my husbands tires were stolen off his car at a different place nearby. also a sign in parking lot says to secure valuables so...be careful what you have in your car.

Great quick loop!

Harder at times to see where trail is, but great hike. It was a moderate hike.

I just saw a mountain lion. Luckily I was on higher ground and it did not see me. Should the parks and wildlife be called and notified?

Quite a few trails going on here and was hard to stay on track without the app. Not well marked.

really fun! there are a lot of hiking and bike trails and washout so the trail is kind of hard to stay with. a lot harder than I was expecting for easy.
if you're trying to get away from the city, I wouldn't recommend. you're always in sight of either the highway or houses.
but gorgeous views of the whole front range

It was ok. Coming down was a bit difficult.

It was a really nice trail but came across several Prairie Rattlesnakes on the path. So I would just be careful and vigilant. Took 2 of our dogs and they had a blast!

Nice, easy neighborhood hike. Good views of Pikes Peak and Colorado Springs

there are a couple trailheads and I had trouble finding them. there are a few that have a small parking lot and then there's one at the end of a street. So there are a few ways to enter. The trail leads all over the place and it's hard to determine which way to go but if you follow the map you should be able to get there. There were only a few people there when I went and nice views.
