Great view and multiple trail options

Although the trail wasn't very well marked, it was very well kept up. If you follow the app and keep on the path with the map you'll come across some great views. There are lots of false trails, but referencing the map/app always kept me on the right path.

amazing views

4.18.19 .. nice hike with stunning views of Pikes Peak. Didn't use my poles, but may have been somewhat helpful on the climb down

My friend and I brought our kids on this hike. There are so many off shoots and no markers that it was hard to figure out which trail we were on at times. On the rock itself you can actually get to the very top. Cool for adults, not for the 9 and 10 year olds that wanted to climb with free will with no understanding of the actual safety issue. It resulted in two moms giving stern commands and two kids unhappy that they didn’t get to climb as much as they wanted. Tough luck kids! It’s a beautiful area and everyone on trail was nice. There are some steep climbs and nothing gradual, at least not that we found.

Amazing views of Colorado Springs! There are some pretty steep parts on the trail to the actual top, but the outside loop was an easy walk. Highly recommend!

Love this trail. Fun hike and great views. You will always find plenty of people on pulpit rock though, so if you like solitude this trail is not for you.

We did the outer loop. It was a good hike, there were some parts where we had to scramble. Trekking poles would be good if you're not comfortable with that. There's great views all throughout.

No trail markers and tons of offshoot trails. If you’re not from the area and familiar w this park, make sure to bring a map.

Not the most scenic trail I've visited. But it is a simple trail. Good for those looking for a short walk.

Trail was great today. Hiked with two toddlers and some parts were a bit slippery due to sand/rock, but it was great overall. Amazing views!

Definitely a Gem! Really muddy after the blizzard snow storm we got! Great people on the trails as well!!

The Rock at Pulpit rock trail is pretty awesome. You can see the city of colorado spring in all directions. The view of Pike Peak is beautiful as well. The paths for the trail go off in many directions thanks to All Trails app was able to stay on the proper Trail to get full milage. Enjoyed this hike very much especially at this time of year although there is a lots of muddy slushy clay and ice. Which made it a bit slippery. Better than seeing a lot of rattlesnakes in hot summer months.

Great quick hike with lovely views. One bridge is quite underwater, today the ice was still thick enough to walk across (carefully!) but will probably melt soon. Well-trafficked trail, though there are not markings for the different path options, the trail itself is easy to follow. NOTE - this path does NOT go to the summit, though you can easily take a connected trail to reach the top ;)

Moderate climb to top. Great views. Easy return to car. Nice combo of easy walk with some scrambling near the top. We took our time and smacked on top and were back to the car in well under two hours.

Beautiful day for this trail, but only if you've got traction for your boots. It's either snowy and icy, or it's muddy and slick where it's melted over. Wouldn't recommend today in boots alone, and definitely NOT in trail-runners. But, with microspikes it's very doable, and the views are delightful!

Very pretty the mud is common with the season we are in. Just know that the north side of the trail is extremely rocky. The south side [which is closer to the university] is more smooth for if you have children, more pups, etc.

Moderate hiking trail with plenty of room to adventure! Be sure to follow the trail map - there are quite a few “mini” trails throughout the route. Overall, great hike!

Took my own route to get to Pulpit Rock so I haven't taken the entire trail. beautiful open space, easy path, but wasn't impressed by the view of the town. It was really fun to climb the rocks though!

View was great, however getting up and down was a challenge. Tons of off trails that are easily confused as the main trail, it was really frustrating. I tried to follow the directions on this app, but it was almost impossible. It was an ok hike that I probably won’t do again, but like I said, the view is dope.

Super easy trail. I parked at the first parking lot (there's 2). The trails aren't marked so you just have to work around them. I ended up heading straight towards pulpit rock and climbed up for a challenge. There is a trail that goes all the way around it for an easier climb up to the top. Went during the week around 2 and it was moderate traffic with drones and selfie takers. Took about 20min and less to reach the top. Easy Hike, not very peaceful, but the overlook is cool

good quick spot for a hike in the city. nice view over the town. could be a little steep getting to the top for some.

Nice light hike in the city.
Going counter-clock-wise is a gentle assent with summit toward the end and a steeper quicker decent back.
Lots of alternatives shortcuts if you don't feel like hiking all 4 miles
