July 20, 2019. Super Easy hike to the falls. Very doable with kids. Great views of the falls.

Walk up closer to water fall was not so easy, rocky and slippery on some parts especially when u get closer to the fall. The feeling of getting near the fall is amazing. You get wet and experience the wonder of the fall upclose. Fantastic feeling!

Nice place to watch sunset. Easy walk from parking area. Ver scenic drive to the point.

Busy trail but would recommend going on the rocks on the east side of the falls to get a better view, lots of people but it is beautiful!

Pretty easy trail but the lake had receded so it looked more like river. We went in the afternoon, it was hot and lot of people. The water was nice and cool. Recommend jumping in and also bring bug spray. We needed this when hiking back.

Way better than just doing the lower falls. Walking though the meadows adds a nice view of everything. Parked at shuttle stop 7 and walked a little bit to the falls first thing in the morning to beat the rush. Saw a momma and baby dear on the way which was great.

Amazing views over the valley. More a park and walk. Perfect way to end a trip to the park.

Very pretty and very easy. Will be crowded at any given point so don't worry about coming early or late.

Great little tourist heavy view of the falls. Recco checking it out in the evening. especially if you plan to do upper falls. to appreciate the small things ;)

easy trail everyone should go on atleast once

Not really a hike, but a walk with such incredible views. The view almost didn't feel real. There wasn't too much parking, we waited maybe 20 mins. to find parking. It was worth it.

Beautiful and easy for anybody. We loved seeing how close we could safely get to the falls by climbing on the rocks at the end of the trail. This was my kids favorite hike.

Amazing, beautiful, stunning, incredible. Worth the congestion or go for sunrise

More of a walk than a hike. Lots of traffic and some nice views but too busy for me. The best part of the hike is to keep going past mirror lake.

a must stop if you happen to visit Yosemite National Park . its a short walk from the parking lot but the view was magical!!!

Very easy hike, on a paved trail. We saw lots of kids on foot or bike doing this hike. You don’t need hiking shoes to do this hike. Mirror Lake is sometimes a meadow. Our visit there was still water but it was shallow. This is a great place to bring a swimsuit and enjoy playing in the water. We hiked back on the trail to the stables and it was underwhelming.

Short and easy trail packed with people.

Not a big fan of paved trails, yet the views of half done are worth it.

Awesome views all around. Busy place.

We actually rented bikes and did the entire valley, which included this area. Beautiful scenery - very flat and easy for all ages and abilities.

Very easy and beautiful walk through the redwoods and pines to a great view of falls. Great for all ages and abilities.

This trail was extremely short. Great for families but not something to bring your bike as it is highly trafficked and just no point considering how short it is. It was kinda boring. Not a big fan of this trail.

Fine trail, lots of people make it a bit slow. Great for young families, especially to get in the water. Of all the trails in Yosemite that allow dogs... this is the best and there are many great paths leading to this trail that can extend the experience. Side note: Really wish they would open up the John Muir trail to dogs for a little more challenging hike. Again, the huge bias for horseback riding in this park is frustrating.

Easy long walk. Good for kids and family. Views not as great as the rest of Yosemite. Part of the trail after mirror lake on the south side is washed out. We had to walk through some water for a few hundred feet to find the trail.

Easy trail, great for strollers and bikes. Not really scenic until you get to the end of the trail. The lake is awesome. Carry towels and bathing suit, or clothes that you can get wet in. Kids will love this one!

easy trail

Bikes are the way to go for all travel around Yosemite Valley, including going to Mirror Lake. Just went to the lake and back. Next time will do the whole thing.

This trail is very easy and super beautiful!! It’s just a nice walk for about a mile and then you get to the waterfall and it’s absolutely gorgeous. I would highly recommend this trail if you’re new to hiking or have a large family, it’s a great warm up for some of the other trails in Yosemite.
