This is the best walk on a Sunday. My family and I do this hike twice a month early in the morning. It’s an easy walk with small hills. Depending on your physical activity level the hills are easy. The downside for me is the entrance on Victory has so much dead brush that I worry about fires in the summer.

Great trail, always clean and nice scenery. Just beware snake. It can get hot and there isn't much shade.

This is a very simple trail. A lot of sun and no shade. it has very nice views of the yellow hills

This trail is definitely 'Hard' per rating. We took the trail southbound (from Simi to Victory), and so glad we did. The north half of the trail is predominated by a mix of grade hills, up and down, and to do that climb on the back half of our trail would have been even harder.

There are some good views, including some over the shoulder views of the old rocket facilities. A little bit of the trail was overgrown with fox tails (which isn't surprising now June). Per an earlier comment the best views are more than 3 miles in from both ends.

I enjoyed this hike for it's pure challenge and it had some nice sights, but I'm not going to give it a high score for lack of return on investment:l I've hiked on others in the greater LA that I would prefer (Upper Rustic Garapito Loop Trail, Dawn Mine and Sunset Trail Loop, are both shorter but with much better views). Travel time was approx 6 hours for us.

Notes:
Parking on the Simi side was a bit of a pain, as all the nearby areas are private property, so we parked half mile away in some residential.
It was mid 80s and shade is spotty and almost non-existent the north half. My buddy drank 3L of water and I 4.5L; come prepared. Probably because of the warm weather, we only saw four other people on the trail but confident none of them were through the whole of this trail.

Awesome trail and beautiful views.

Very pretty trail. I started at 7:30 and there were quite a few people at the trailhead then; it was busy when I came back in. Very pretty views.

Went off the main paths and traversed some steep hills. Did not make it to the caverns but will definitely return.

A pleasant 6.5 mile or so out and back trail along Las Virgenes Canyon. We did it on a hot 90F day and turned back as the elevation gained and it became too hot. You can continue up to China Flats and above if inclined (pun intended) or loop back via Cheesboro.

Gorgeous green rolling hills in the spring time. Very little shade so plan accordingly when it's hot.

super fun and easy, gorgeous right now

Great mountain bike ride. Just be aware, if you make a left turn farther up on the trail, it takes you to Las Virgenes. Found this out the hard way and decided to ride back from Las Virgenes to Victory. Great ride though.

Wide trail, plenty of room for hikers and riders. Rolling hills with low grade climbs.

I'd recommend this hike if you're a local. Endless rolling hills are beautiful, but beyond that it's kind of a boring trail. I did this hike in the summer though, I'm sure it's more scenic in the spring when everything's blooming.

Went after rain. wide trails, peaceful, some coyote pack sighting.

An easy lop than can be done at a leisurely pace.
Note: My hike added a short extension that makes this a 5 mile loop. But AllTrails won't allow me to include that portion with it's write option so I've added Waypoints so you can see where that section is. This extra section is rated moderate and should be avoided if you have a stroller etc.

An easy walk through the busier side of Las Virgenes Open Space.
No shade so time accordingly.

A easy trail but really busy on the Victory side. Best as a starting point for the numerous better off-shots.

Beautiful view, clean trail, hiking up hill not difficult, excellent for everyday hike.

This is my usual go to for an easy two hour hike. Most of it is gentle incline, except the hill at the half way point. The whole path is well trafficked by bikes, horses, and people.
Bikers, please remember to slow down when coming up on hikers, they have the right of way no matter how fast you want to go (yes, some bikers zip right by and I pulled an ankle once when surprised by one coming from behind).

A quiet hike. Not many people. Annoying that there are no trail markers. Makes finding the connector trails for the loop hard to find.

Its hot with little shade but beautiful.

Boring. Turned around after 3 miles. Too many loud people.

A rattlesnake on the trail today and once heard about 20 coyotes here, hours before dark. Only been here a few times. Wild area.

It is great and easy

This trail when completed from start to finish is as described. It starts out easy for the first 4 miles or so then begins to transition into the hills. The difficulty comes from mile 5 - 8 which is all the elevation gain. Took 5-6 hours to complete, be familiar with the map as cell service is none existent most of the way.

Great hike if you're looking to put in a few easy miles. There are bits of incline here and there but they are pretty easy and short-lived. There is no shade whatsoever on this trail, so keep that in mind when the sun is strong. We had to step aside for a few people of bikes but they were very considerate. Also, I believe the waterfall tag is a mistake, definitely didn't see one and can't imagine where it could have been. Parking was easy and it wasn't too crowded.

Love this hike. Not sure where the waterfall is.

This is a nice easy trail.. Have gone here a few times so close to home. Don't know why it's labeled as hard! Have came with children and dogs as well. Never done the whole thing as it huge.
