Gorgeous trail with a very scenic overlook. Not hard at all. Warning: the park doesn't open until 7 AM and the rangers are strict about it.

A good day hike with great views. Very crowed for a Monday.

I was able to hike 8.2 miles up and down all of the trails. This will ALWAYS be my favorite place to hike in Southern California!

beautiful. it's pretty short to get out to the cliffs and back, but you can combine a lot of different trails to get in 4 to 6 miles if you want

This is where we bring all our out of town guests when they visit. The first hill can be tiring, but man are the views worth it. I’ve also done that hill 9 months pregnant, so it’s not that awful. Even with all the foot traffic, the views make everything so peaceful and serene. A must do whether you’re a San Diego local or a tourist.

I wouldn’t bring a stroller, but this is still a great trail for baby-wearing or young kids who follow directions (e.g., wouldn’t trust my 2 yr old around the cliffs but older kids would do fine).

This was a great walking trail. Overall there are plenty of views and other trails that you can explore if you would like.

The parking at the bottom is $20 for the day. If you are able to, park alongside the road in the limited spots for free.

This trail was very busy, but enjoyable. Nice for a casual outing. We walked along the beach on the way back and a wave came up and got us wet to the knees. Make sure to pay attention to the tide, in some spots with high tide you might not be able to make it.

The most beautiful views in San Diego, keep in mind the heavy traffic when visiting on the weekends! I went on a Monday around 9am and it wasn't busy at all, it was perfect so if you plan on going, try to visit on a week day rather than the weekend. Having said all that, the views are spectacular on this quick and easy hike, we enjoyed it very much

Fantastic views. Very heavily trafficked, but to be expected for the area.

Probably the most scenic hike in San Diego with breathtaking views of the ocean and cliffs. We went with some friends visiting from New Jersey and everybody really enjoyed it. There are some fun side trails that offer different perspectives so I would definitely recommend doing some of them.

breath-taking views! Hike was a little too easy, but nice for sight seeing.

Not long trails but beautiful cliffside views

Beautiful hike which leads to the beach. Very easy but very crowded with tons of tourist.

Very scenic

Great hike for a family Vista in San Diego. This was a great half day activity during our vacation. Not too difficult, great scenery, and minimal preparation required.

Parked in the lower lot not knowing there is a 2nd lot up top. No big deal but we were short on time having to catch a flight so would have preferred doing more on top then schlepping up the Park Road. All was good though as we took in the Scripps Overlook then went down to Razor Point vea the Butte. Traversed over to Yucca Point which was great too then returned via the West Overlook and the Park Road. I guess I wasn't thinking straight since we could have gone down the Beach Trail and returned via the beach in probably the same time. Oh well, will be back to this park at some point to finish things up!!

Arrived at 8:30 AM and paid our $15 at the ranger station. Watch out for walkers on the road up to the upper lot. For a weekend morning, there were only 2 other cars in the upper lot. The restrooms were out of order, so they have several portable toilets set up. The trails were moderately crowded when we started, and very crowded by the time we finished. Weather and views were beautiful. On our way back to the trail head we saw signs for rattlesnakes - luckily we did not see any. After our hike we visited the small nature center. Watch out for even more walkers on the road on the way down. Luckily we found a spot in the lower lot to use the flush toilets and explore the beach. There's also a picnic area with shaded tables.

Crossed paths with a rattlesnake on razor trail last week

Great trail with awesome views! Easy & quick, but if you go towards the Tide-pools you'll extend the hike & discover marine life. It's adjacent to the Torrey Pines gliders, which you'll see gliding above you throughout your Hike. Depending on the season, you'll stumble onto a *nude* beach ;)

No dogs allowed. Was disappointed about that!

One of the best hikes I’ve ever done! Beautiful views and tons of options. Would love to go back and do a trail run next time!

Love this trail. So so beautiful. The California coast is hard to beat. Trail is very easy, but well worth it!

This is my very favorite trail to take all levels of hikers! The beauty of this hike is so amazing and easy! Even difficult trail hikers love it!

The trail is currently under repair and closed due to significant damage. The whole Torrey Pines natural reserve is highly trafficked since it is near the beach. It is beautiful but expect a lot of people

Nice, short, easy hike with great views of canyons and the ocean.

There’s parking on PCH but very difficult to find an empty parking space most days. We parked inside the park (parking was $15). The trails were easy to find and there’s pamphlets at the trail head so you can pick your trails. There was a LOT of traffic on the trails (Friday afternoon) but the views were amazing. The trails take you right down to the beach where you can walk around or jog along the water. We saw whales along the coast as we hiked back up. If you want an ocean view and don’t mind the heavy foot traffic, this is the place for you.

Great trails, nice views. Lost 1 star for the high price of entrance ($20).

Best views from the side trails.
