Nice, pretty, easily accessible trail. Great weather when I went, so there were lots of dogs, hikers and mtn bikers were on the trail.

Simple walk down to Lake Anza, ok for kids but a little slippery underfoot. Ok for dogs too.

Amazing views at the top! Nice short but steep hike. Will definitely do again

Great views. The trail is a bit rough at some points. Easy to slip on large loose rocks

Definitely a good amount of exercise on the way up but it was well rewarded with beautiful views at the numerous pit stops. I highly recommend giving this trail a try. be sure to pack plenty of water.

We started from inspiration point and hiked all the way to vollmer peak via seaview trail.. about 3 miles one way.. We reached around 9 am there were lot of vacant spaces In the parking lot.. There is also a restroom near the parking lot at inspiration point.. Amazing views of San Pablo reservoir , Golden Gate Bridge and the city.. Nice elevation and great workout.

One of my go to hikes for a workout. Trail Head easy to find & lots of parking. Trail in good condition. From the Start goes up, up, & up.. When you get to the top of the ridge you have great views of Reservoirs and also Highway 24 (ugh). Then you start down into a valley & move towards Berkeley. At one point you cross a road to get on a very narrow path that opens up to a STUNNING view of Oakland, San Fran and both Bridges. Coming back on the loop is really hard but you will survive. I hardly ever see anyone on the trail. Keeping it from a 5 star hike - pretty constant highway noise and a ton of powerlines that spoil some of the views

What a great hike! I covered so much ground and went through so many different types of forest, which opened up to various views of the surrounding terrain. I like how the track loops through both the upper and lower sections of Huckleberry, which provided a nice change of scenery on the way back.

I took a couple detours. I walked up the paved path to the water tank in Sibley to look out at the extinct volcano. In Redwood Regional, I headed south to the Prince / Stream intersection to see if the lady bugs were still active. There were a few stragglers, but the thousands that were there in January had moved on. I also walked down to the Grizzly Peak Blvd Overlook close to the end and sat on the graffiti-covered tree to soak in the stunning views of the bay. All in all, I racked up a little over 16 miles. Not bad for a Sunday morning.

Love this whole area you can get to from the farm. Awesome views on the east side/up on the hills, with amazing foliage and presence of lots of animals :)

If you go clockwise, your climb will be a bit steep to the top, however the descent will be more gradual and pleasant, so if you have knee issues I would suggest to go clockwise. If you prefer a steady ascent but a steeper descent then counterclockwise is recommended.

Amazing views!

Beautiful lake. Great picnic spot. Some rough patches.

Stunning views

Great views if the bay area on a clear day.

Beautiful views on clear days!!

This was a nice afternoon hike, with enough of an incline to get your heart rate up. The path mostly shady with a clear nice view from the top. A little slippery in places from the rain last week.

Great even on a cloudy day

Came across 4 friendly dogs looking to be petted.

This is one of the best views in all of the Bay area. 360 degree view, from down to the peninsula out to the Golden gate and Bay side, Mount Tam and Marin and over to the delta into the valley East Bay towards Mt. Diablo and beyond. On a clear day you can see forever in all directions. The walk I do is from Inspiration point in Wildcat to Vollmer Peak and takes a minimum of 3 hours.

Rocky, very steep in parts. Great views!

We started at the Tilden Little Farm parking lot, hiked up to the Memory Trail, across the Canon Drive and continued to the Selby Trail, Wildcat Gorge Trail, the Curran Trail and then the Meadows Canyon Trail back to the parking lot. Total distance was 6 miles with elevation gain of 823 ft. It was a pleasant hike.

Awesome trail run, a little rocky, moderately challenging, but absolutely beautiful views on a clear-skied morning. It is perfect for a sunrise hike. We saw a couple deer and only one other person on the trail so early in the morning. Not very shaded if you go on a hot day, but the eucalyptus trees Are plentiful along the trail.

So gorgeous! Get ready for a lot of hills with loose rocks.

Yaaaaaaaaaaas

11-12-17 Nice day to walk up to the WildCat Peak in Tilden. We parked at the Environment Education center. They had a nice 3D map of the peak and canyon to get there. The hike up was filled with clear views of the bay, its bridges, and surrounding cities. Enjoyed the view at the top, and the Peace Grove with Sequoia trees. I was surpised what a pleasant hike this was.

Beginners luck! Mostly walking, a bit of climbing over roots and rocks, a babbling brook, beautiful views, not much traffic when the beach isn’t open. Got a bit lost at the end, as there is fencing separating the trail end from the trail beginning. Must go off the trail to arrive back onto the beach.

This hike takes you from Inspiration Point to lake Anza and back. There was a good bit of traffic on a Saturday morning with some runners and dog walkers. Most of the dogs I came across were off-leash, but almost all of them were well behaved.

Wildcat Gorge Trail is very scenic. There are a few small waterfalls and the trees are lush. The other trails are so-so.

One I'd forgotten I'd done when I lived nearby.
