It was a beautiful hike!!! It was mostly shaded, beautiful weather, and amazing scenery. The trail gets increasingly adventurous the closer to the falls you get. I loved it!

Amazing hike, very green and fresh. The last 0.5 miles is rocky and difficult, but otherwise a great hike.

Great hike. Felt like a ninja warrior near the end. Needs more signs on the trails.

Nice trail through the woods with a pretty little waterfall at the end. A trail has to really wow me to get 5 stars but I would definitely recommend this trail and would happily do it again. The only moderate part about the trail is the length, other than that is was pretty easy with some mild scrambling over logs toward the end.

In good shape, recent blow downs cleared.

Great trail in a gorgeous forest, Redwoods are amazing here! The end has a bit of a scramble up the creek but totally worth it for a nice little trail to the falls. I went May 27 and I only saw one couple along the way and one runner after getting past the initial fire road which had a few runners and lots of bikers.

Fun hike! The slide that took out and closed the trail is a bit of a scramble to get across, but definitely doable, especially using the installed ropes. The waterfall at the end is a great spot to take a dip on a warm day. On a Wednesday afternoon, the trail was pretty much empty as soon as we left the fire road. All in all a cool hike.

Of the most beautiful oh forestry I’ve ever seen. Makes it one of my favorite trails. The incline is tough but worth it!

Absolutely beautiful shaded trail . Great for everyone including beginners

Perfect hike for leisure and to enjoy nature. Lots of vegetation, trees, and creeks. Will be back again. Be ware for possible poison oak.

Amazing trip to waterfalls.

I love this hike and have done it many times. The only thing is, during this time of year it is very overgrown and there are lots of spider webs and caterpillars that are gonna get caught on your face and body. Careful of poison oak too. Wear leggings!!

Beautiful hike, all shaded, lots of mtb

Mostly wooded with lots of shade. Beautiful Redwoods and nice to hear the creek most of the way. I gave it 4 because there was no water fall as in the photos.

Almost no one on West Ridge and beautiful! Went up the fire road down the trail— no steeps, lots of flats. Lots of bikes and groups on the road the first few miles. Bikes whipping down the road kept me on my toes. Lots of shade. This was an 18 mile loop from town.

Amazing trail. My maps timeline says it's 10 miles round trip given the parking is only available at entrance station. The last mile is pretty tricky and not marked enough. We were helped by a couple of tips regarding directions by the folks returning. The water flow itself was comparatively good considering it's the end of season.

It is a good hike but very confusing with trails

Nice relaxed hike. Over grown in a middle for a mile.

Loved the trail!! Definitely do this hike in long pants (there is a lot of poison oak) and be ready for a bunch of spider webs.
