Beautiful scenery and great view on top of hill
Map looks trail is small but not :)

Its a moderate trail and we probably took a longer loop and ended up at around 6.7 miles. Some hills were challenging for us, but fun. View was okay.

Beautiful trail and views just ALOT of poison oak is why I removed one star

This trail is especially beautiful during rainy season. It's much more green than some of the other trails in the area! In the summer it's nothing special and I'd rather go elsewhere. It's worth the extra .25 to .5 miles to go to the top of Maisie's Peak on a clear day!

This was a great hike, but it is NOT easy. The Tony Look portion along the reservoir is a narrow trail with slight elevation changes that I would classify as easy. Once you get to Coyote Ridge it’s a huge grind to the top. Beautiful and worth doing but be prepared for a strenuous climb and bring some water. The loop took us 2.5 hours and we are one very fit and two reasonably fit adults.

Beautiful lookouts. Very much appreciated the easily marked trails, and the maintained paths. Will definitely come back.

Starts out steep, but fairly light once up top. Descent on Coyote Ridge is long and, at times, quite steep. Wear good hiking shoes. Portions on Lookout Trail and Tony Look trail are single file trails only. Much of Tony Look trail is under tree cover, as is Lookout Trail, but the rest if pretty exposed, so keep that in mind on very sunny and hot days.
Do not suggest young children due to overall duration (abt 3 hours), but use your judgement.

Just did this trail. Though it’s just 5.5 miles with all its ups and downs it took a group of us 3 hours. Great hike - just budget the time.

I enjoyed it today. My phone died and was unable to record the whole hike. Will go back again. Thanks

Went to the trail few times. Like its view of Stevens Creek Reservoir.

+ near city. Convince in terms of location is hard to beat.
+ dogs are allowed.
- paid parking
- noise from trucks operating near the dam site.

This is a beautiful trail for most of it. It takes about 3.5 hours to do the 5.5 miles.

It's a little bit too much for a 3.5 and 5.5 year old kids. I had to carry them for part of it, but in the end, they were happy going on the adventure.

Great hike, brought my dog and he was definitely exhausted after. Beautiful scenery.

Very pleasant hike, partly through the forest and some in the open and near the ridges. Great that it is so easy to get to from town.

I'd rate this higher but for the noise from the shooting range on the other side of the lake. I was there in the summer as well, and the the gunfire can be heard on most of the trail.

Didn't find the trails very well marked. It was difficult to determine what was the walking trail and what was an animal path.

you can NOT go with Bikes on Tony Look Trail (near the lake)

We meant to hike this trail but went the wrong way and went UP Lookout Trail... Immediately at the trail head at the Madrone Picnic Area stay to the left! The trail splits and almost at the very beginning and believe me, you do not want to hike up that big hill on a hot day with three little kids!

It was great, execpt for the cement factory across the lake making blasting noises blowing up their mountain for limestone. Scenery is partially ruined because of the cement factory's mark on the otherwise beautiful landscape. River is accessible in many spots, so is the lake. Wonderful trail exept for that horrible factory.

Good trail. Easy 2:30 hours hiking mostly in the woods.

One of the worst hikes. Go elsewhere

Fine but no short loop access

Great workout. The reservoir side is a lot less steep and has a lot of cover, and the other side is much steeper and is a lot less shaded. The trail on the reservoir side is very narrow and the weeds are overgrown so if you are wearing shorts or capris your legs will get a bit scratched. Has a great view of the cities below and can see out for miles.

Amazig hike. Decent elevation. Great views of the lake. Lots of restrooms along the way.

Decent trail for a quick afternoon hike!

We did the whole loop, starting from the reservoir side, and enjoyed the trail. Lots to look at, everything seemingly vibrant. The second half was not a trail but a dirt road. With almost no shade on a sunny day with a high of about 90. If I were doing it again I'd just hike on the reservoir side to the lookout and return the way I came.

This is one of my favorite hiking spots. Lots of nice scenery, flowers, plants, nice views.

A favorite hiking spot of mine. There's quite a few trails around here, lots of nice, scenic views, wild flowers, insects, a Creek. Just make sure you pay attention to the signs or you might get a bit lost.

Didn't like the sounds of gunfire throughout the hike. DID like that we shared the trail with deer at one point.
