Truly an easy ride mixed surface, started as paved then to loose dirt and then decomposed granite. Lots of information boards along the trail so you can familiarize yourself with the birds, plants & animals you may encounter. I saw about 8 jack rabbits along the trail. Beautiful scenery a blending of nature & modern times.

Great at sunset. If you bring your dog beware of the fox tails!

Easy, peaceful hike with lots of local birds to check out! Make sure to check your pup for ticks after your walk.

As easy as it gets... perfect for putting a baby to sleep in her carriage, walking a dog, or if your aging body parts cannot take more than easy and slow. Not a lot to see other than marshes and faraway horizons. Not challenging whatsoever (the landscape also feels artificial), but pleasant. Good for enjoying a calm summer day. Facilities include tables, bathrooms and parking.

schollenberger is a fantastic place to go for an easy walk. It is a great place to go bird watching. Bring your camera and binoculars and walk the loop. You can explore both wetlands and the Petaluma river while on your walk.
