For being so close to town, this is a great day hike area. I adored the scene of California poppies sprinkled throughout the rock outcroppings that were painted orange with lichen. There is a nice view of San Jose atop the ridge line. The ridge gets windy, bring a shell or light jacket.

It was a very good experience, with two kids a 2yer old and a 3yer old, it was a nice View from the top and the trail itself it’s clean and well-maintained

This is my first time hiking around Morgan Hill and this is totally worth it! We hiked right after the rain so everything was so green. We got to see wild animals along the ways. Please note the best time to go is spring or Fall.

Easy hike, gradually climb up with California Poppy flowers on both sides of the trail. Many other wild flowers and butterflies, mostly expose with decent cool breezes.

Good workout rewarded by great views on southern San Jose. Except for some moments on Vista Loop and Bernal Hill Loop, the power poles always remind you that you are not far from civilization.

Wonderful little hike if you are looking to get your nature fix! The view of the hills are absolutely stunning this time of year due to the rainfall. The trail was pretty low trafficked, though it I did do this on a Monday morning. I would recommend bringing sunscreen and water since the first portion of the hike is under the sun and uphill!

The parking lot could probably fit 7-10 cars. At 9:00 am it was empty, but when I returned at 10 it had filled up.

Beautiful view- I try to go during times when there’s less people. I’ve had the top to myself many times and love the adventure up!

Great trail for late morning walks. Beautiful scenary. Nice altitude. Just the right kind of short family friendly hike. Kids loved it.

Great Trail! But when we finished hiking my son had 4 ticks on. him

Enjoyed this trail today. It starts out pretty steep but is a great workout with nice views.

Nice hike. Good pull right out of the gate. Ridge line hiking up top. Great views of south San Jose.

This is not moderate at all is it EASY...great to just get in a walk of 7 plus miles

Great hike but you must watch the bike riders as they zoom by unannounced.

A nice trail considering your location with respect to the suburbs. Other than that the trail is great. First part of the hike takes you straight up to the top. It's good cardio especially if you run it or keep a decent pace. I saw plenty of wild flowers towards the last mile and a half of the hike if you take the trail clockwise. Also, be wary of rattlesnakes. A guy trail running in front of me ran right past one and didn't seem to notice!

Good, easy hike. There was a very narrow trail section with long grass/vegetation on each side. Trailhead was near the golf course so you can always hit balls on the range after!

Beautiful view and lots of options to extend hike. Park with clean restrooms is an added perk.

Good hike, some steep trails, so be prepared because there isn't anything to grab onto to pull you along. A walking stick would be helpful for beginners. Some pretty scenery and lots of green. A bit too close to civilization for my taste. It can get loud from the road, but all in all, a fun hike for my companion dog and self.

This is a great loop trail that goes from the Pueblo Group Area, to Coyote Peak, and back down the Rocky Ridge Trail. There are great views of both the Diablo and Santa Cruz Mtns, and of Silicon Valley, especially from the peak. The Rocky Ridge section of this loop is exposed to the sun, but luckily the day of our hike it was quite windy. A coyote was seen trotting along the trail ahead of us.

Not much coverage or greenery this time of year, but parts of this trail is stunning!

This trail is a loop that combines three separate trails. Lots of wildlife was spotted: does, funnel spiders, and a colony of frogs at the pond near the end of the loop. It was mostly shaded until the ascent up to Coyote Peak. At the top of Coyote Peak is a spectacular view of the city.

Wildflowers and green hills for days! (In late March/early April)

I arrived and entrance was locked up.

We visited Santa Teresa County Park and did one of the loop trails. The portion we walked was part of the Bay Area Ridge Trail. 6.3 of the trail's 73 miles are located and end in this park.
