I went yesterday and it was very pretty! I can't wait to go back after the rain when the waterfall is active and everything blooms.

Hiked this trail last Sunday. I arrived around 7:30am and left around 10:00am. Nobody was on the trail, and it was sunny and cool at that time of the morning. Perfect time for a hike. I’m not sure why this trail is rated “easy”. The trail going back is hiking back up the canyon, so the trail back to the beginning is mainly up hill. The trail is very narrow and parts of the trail is overgrown but still manageable. Because of the narrow parts that weave around the cliffs, I don’t think this is kid friendly. I did bring my rottweiler, and she did very well. The scenery is beautiful, and the trail has some great viewpoints. As you get lower into the canyon, be prepared for bugs swarming around your head. I very much enjoyed this hike, and going back is a great workout. You do have to have a recreation pass to park in the parking lot.

Nice easy trail, not very challenging. I started late and therefore most of the trail had shade. If you start early bring plenty of water. Plan on coming back in winter season after some rain.

Great hike with lots of shade. Going at 830 am Adventure pass $5 day use

Beautiful easy hike. Did it with the dog and my 5 year old today.

I love this little camp. We hiked in today to check if there is any water for an upcoming backpacking stay, there isn't. Pack plenty if you are staying overnight.

Really really beautiful view from the top. The last climb was pretty slippery. Be careful coming down, but it was worth it for the view and we had it all to ourselves even on the weekend.

It was a nice hike. Unfortunately, there’s not much of a view at the top if you just do the loop and turn back at the four corners. I recommend going an extra mile along the path towards Sitton peak. There’s a beautiful view of The Valley behind. Not much more of a climb to get to it but a really beautiful view. You will know it when you see, on your left. If you go on further than that, the climb to sitton peak is pretty strenuous and slippery so I would not advise it if you don’t like clambering. It was pretty hot on all parts so bring plenty of water, especially for four legged friends.

This is a cool hike with a little bit of an incline. I bet its nice when the water is flowing. Hopefully I can make it out on a day after some rain. The drive up to the trail head is fun but kind of sketchy since it's on a small windy road. Overall super fun though! I made a quick youtube video with some drone shots if you want to check out. My youtube name is Magana Ventures. I make hiking vids and I shared a link of this hike below :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LncVaNcfQ68

10/15/19 This trail is definitely meant for off-road vehicles or a truck with proper suspension, tires, shocks etc. if your vehicle is not meant for bumpy dirt roads there’s a good chance you will blow a tire or get stuck (there was a truck stuck near the top). It’s super fun to drive through and beautiful scenery at the top! Still nice and green trees and plants. Parts of the trail were closed off. We called park services before hand to find out what was open.

The trail isn't difficult per se, but it is pretty Rocky and there are several felled trees at the end. The trail isn't terribly well marked at the beginning either. We went in late September and the falls were lack luster lol but worth the view for the short walk :)
