This is one of my favorite spots. Always beautiful.

This place has History, and for the reason it's closed if you don't know don't ring in . People have disappeared up here yep gone missing. I've been coming up here for over 25 years now . spent nights up here . to bad some idiots ruined it. So. Cal is turning this way.

It’s a nice trail but very short! people with no respect for nature tagged up the whole trail! Waterfall is beautiful

Beautiful waterfall !!!

Easy trail, gorgeous greenery mixed with the feel of the desert.

A very fun, family and dog friendly trail. a hidden jewel in SoCal.

there is a lot of graffiti, and no markings on where the trail is. Once you are past the rock bed follow the graffiti to the falls.

Great hike for families and beginners. Lots of friendly traffic today. It’s very easy to find the heart rock. Plenty of photo opportunities. I will definitely return here for another hike.

Beautiful but there's not really a trail for the first mile which is just basically a rocky dry riverbed that you make your way down. We probably wouldn't have found where you turn off the riverbed to go up if people hadn't been coming out and showed us where to go. Once you're off the riverbed keep going up and stay to the left is the best advice we were given. It's quite steep and it goes on for about quarter to half a mile but once you get there it's absolutely beautiful. I gave it 4 stars for the amount of trash we saw and the fact that there's no real trail for the first mile or so. There is tons of graffiti as others have mentioned, i didn't mind that as much, i can appreciate it as some form of art but the trash really annoys me. Also for the first mile along the riverbed there is no coverage at all so odn't go on a super bright and clear day, we did it when it was overcast and cool which make it completely pleasant.

I love this place. It’s a family friendly hike. It moderately trafficked, and once you reach the bottom it’s beautiful!

very rocky terrain to get to the actual trail. Moderate Strenuous. 15-20mins depending on walk pace to get to the actual trail. Very Fun.

Be aware of $9 per person entrance fee. Well worth it. The trail is part of Indian Canyons. It was a fun and interesting hike lots of beauty and interesting features. I'd definitely hike it again.

This trail is rocky for sure. Once you get to the falls though it’s worth it. Beautiful falls. Great for taking pics.

Great short hike... plenty to see and lots of great photo ops. My girl and I did the hike together and she is six months pregnant so easily accessible to a wide variety of hiking levels. Part of the fun is discovering the rock! Enjoy!

So so disappointed about all the trash everywhere.

Nice afternoon hike to a beautiful waterfall. Quite a bit of the hike is over rocks so be careful.

Beautiful but on the easier side. I would not give this a moderate rating. The falls and pool at the end are beautiful.

the first mile is in the dry heat of Palm Springs. Once you get to the river, it is amazing! You cross the river several times and as much as I tried to keep my feet dry-they were wet. I ended up just saying f it and walking in the water instead-just ring out your socks. your clothes will be dry by the time you get back to your car.

I had this trail to myself and absolutely loved it! The heart rock was fun to find, but I also really liked the actual trail and how it wound through the trees along the creek. I parked in the dirt area along the main road before the turn off to the trail ... not sure if that was correct, but I didn’t get ticketed or anything.

very hard trail over grown shrubs and trees on trail .. you better be in good shape if you do this its a true but kicker .. last thought watch out for ticks i got one

Such a beautiful trail, it was our first time here. We encountered a rattlesnake hiding in the brush right when left the parking lot heading down to the start of the trail. And another baby snack in the stream heading up the falls. (not to sure what kind of snake it was tho.) I was prepared with our parking pass, $5. But noticed there was a graveled lot that said free parking.
Hiking up the riverbed to the various falls was a nice workout, not to strenuous but you can feel your muscles work as you find your balance on the slippery rocks. and yes they are very slippery, so becareful.! Great water flow, and it was very cold. But we loved it!

Enjoyed the hike but was disappointed with the amount of trash left behind along the trail.

Pretty good trail. Do all a favor, take trash bags. In the beginning you’ll see shooting areas and dirty areas. Past this, once you start climbing it’s worth it. Any areas you see trash, help keep clean. Most trail is 2wd friendly, locker recommended or 4x if it’s raining . 4x was needed in maybe 2-3 spots. Would do it again no question asked

Couldn’t find the trail and there was trash everywhere. The trail needs to be marked.

It was beautiful and so peaceful. It’s a tiring walk since its all about balancing with all the rocks. Water is super cold. My dogs loved it.

Amazing, scenic, not hard, along the river, a very good hike

Great hike through the canyon! The waterfall was a little underwhelming in late April.

Too much snow to summit this route right now. Wait until summer. Crampons are not enough. Need ice axe and rope. Had to turn back after 9 miles.

Awesome trail! Extremely difficult incline to go down and especially back up after soaking in the springs. But it’s all worth it for the soak, view and body high at the end!

Quick, easy hike over the rocks. Plan accordingly to avoid the bugs during the summer months.
