A high clearance vehicle is recommend for this road. It is not recommended to attempt this route without lifts and tires that are ok with off camber, steep trail. Please note: off line map is recommended to get oriented as several users have reported that this trail is not well marked and/or that there may be poor cell reception in this area. Show more

Please check here for updates: https://www.fs.usda.gov/alerts/sbnf/alerts-notices This is a fun trail that has one obstacle which requires a 4L. It's good for people just getting into off roading. The route is a little rocky in the beginning but nothing too crazy and once you past that part, it's pretty much easy. The road is narrow in some parts, but has some turn outs. Once you get to the top, the road widens up and you get a really nice view! Show more

Trail is primarily used by off road drivers. There are a couple spots you you definitely need more than stock clearance and rear lockers are helpful. Half way through there’s a nice V’d rock drop that plays with your mind more than your rig. All in all very fun moderate trail which can be made more difficult if you want it to be. This will also drop you into John Bull. Scenic views of Big Bear Lake and you end up in Holcomb Valley, which is great for camping.Show more
