This area isn't bad, but it's also not great. I think if you live in this area, this is a nice place to go when you want to get out and don't have a lot of time. I'm a bit further out, so I doubt I'll be back. The trails are okay, pretty moderately trafficked. You'll see hikers, bikers, and a good number of dogs (that are of leash). The views at the top along Volcanic Trail are also okay - they're a nice little bonus if you're just out here for the activity, but I wouldn't count them as a draw to come here.

Biggest issue: very limited parking.

Beautiful hike! Took Top Loop to Volcanic loop, with a detour to the frog ponds. Been seeing some rain so everything was a beautiful green with the yellow tree blossoms. Mostly flat with some fun scrambles up steep hillsides for some stellar views!

Just did this hike today; it was the perfect length for a nice Sunday stroll. I highly recommend doing it while the hills are green and lush from the winter rain (see the pics I uploaded). Don't wear nice sneakers if it just rained though; they will get muddy!

Beautiful country side. Mostly open trails, not paved. Everyone is in a great mood, even the dogs are friendly.

Fun, easy hike. A little bit of an incline at the end that makes it more fun! Partially paved, mostly gravel. On a hot day wear a hat!

Beautiful trails, beautiful views, you couldn’t ask for anything more when hiking here!

awesome trail, a little muddy but overall I would do it again

Awesome hike and the views are amazing!!!

Hiked with 3 kids (2yo,4yo,6yo) - older two walked the whole way. Started to the left; lots of doable uphill. A little difficult for 2yo due to very rocky path. First half is exposed to sun - wouldn't do this hike on a hot day. 2nd half is pleasant thru eucalyptus trees. No cyclists, but lots of dogs (on and off-leash). Took about 1.5hrs (with stops for snacks). Easy and ample parking on the side of the road and in the parking lot (with bathrooms). Decent views but nothing crazy. Lots of people on the trail.

Don't know how I missed this one. A friend lives nearby in Canyon.

This is a nice local hike that allows dogs off-leash. There's minimal to no cover, so wear sunblock and bring a hat. Also, because of the cows you will more than likely encounter your fair share of pies and flies. I would recommend this trail if you're looking for a good spot to run your pup. It is best hiked in the winter/spring months when the fields are lush and you don't have to worry about the heat.

Great trail! Was a nice mix of beautiful views on the hillside and being in the woods.

Good, solid hike. We did 3 of 4 summits, enjoyed the wildflowers. The views are nice but nothing breathtaking.

One of my favorite spots for a quick hike. Easy to get to and great fun for the Pup. Gets really busy on the weekends but it's well maintained. If your dog is a little weird with cattle you might want to keep them on a leash, as there are free roaming cows throughout the area.

Nice little hike that can get pretty crowded.

Beautiful and kid friendly.

Decent amount of people and unleashed dog. Very pretty though, a few longer trail options. Once it rains I bet it's very cool along the little river bed.

Fantastic course. Saw the labyrinth, beautiful eastern views, then from desert down into the thicket of the forest. Saw lava rocks. Excellent.

Hot Hot Hot! Trails are not marked very well; I ended up going to far down and had to walk up a steep road with the dogs that seemed to never end. We got our exercise fersure but bring lots of water; I almost fainted. Better fall or spring trail.

Hot! This is a nice walk but beware if it's a hot day, no shade

If you get off the main loop, there are lots of nice surprises like labyrinths and hobbit forests. Easy hike but lots of variety.

Wonderful views all along the trail! Great hike to have the dog off leash :)

Love it here. It's kid friendly

I had good hike there.

It's not that exciting but good if you want to get outside for a bit with your pups. The trail can get crowded and hot. There's not a whole lot of shade...
The labyrinths are cool, the volcanic features are cool, the hike is alright

Easy but boring hike. It's a great place to walk the dog or do some light after work hike if you live in the area. Might be more interesting if you connect this trail with nearby park trails for a longer hike.

One of my all-time favorites walk-abouts! Great variety in both scenery and skill-level. Bonus for the little "Hobbit-grove" at the top of the old quarry mound. Be warned: trails can get crowded on the weekend with locals and their off-lease pups!

I really love Sibley Park. The trails in the park all have great views, but there are a lot of side footpaths that really make the park fun to poke around
