I loved it here! There was some overgrowth on some of the trails but it wasn’t too bad. There are some shaded areas so the sun isn’t overwhelming

My husband and I hike here with our dog very often. It’s really close to where we live so it makes it easy. It’s so beautiful, great views! Most of it is slightly uphill so it’s a good workout

Awesome trail! :)

Hiked 12-31-17. Overcast, but a very temperate day. I hiked the Eastside of the loop going to the water tank between post numbers 21 and 23. Then followed the west side back. Great add on for this hike. I enjoyed the olive groove, the views of pleasanton, the the quiet of the west of the ridge. Did 8.5 miles

Starting on the Oak Tree Trail, nice wide packed dirt path steady incline leading all the way to the junction of the trails at the top of the hill. On the way down Woodland, very different scene with lots of trees and narrow single track with steeper decent. Views are great on either side. Would have given more stars except there were far too many people for my taste.

Nice hike, especially if you live in the area and don't want to drive to more popular trails. Was super green after the rains earlier this year. And, cows!

Great for kids and dogs!

Good exercise, good views.

Moderate but a Great View!!!

Make sure your iPhone has enough power or you will get lost!!

very good long ride i compled the loop

Lovely views and tough up and downs with a 2 year old on your back!

Close to freeway, plenty of parking, a lot of olive and oak trees, great views.

nice for good hiking workout in nice environment

Great place for hiking, biking and pet friendly!

took 1h45m to complete. good workout. spotty shade and lots of sun in may. decent amount of bugs along the way. trail is well maintained. great place for a quick hike if you live in the area. follow the path laid out, the descent is more gradual compared to the ascent

This trail was awesome with nice company from cows! There are stretches without any shade so come prepared with water and a hat

It's was definitely challenging with kids with all the uphills.. challenging but fun! Very dry and not good for allergies though :/

Good climbing and fun downhills. Single track not allowed which is too bad.

Steep hill to the top, but the view is worth it. Pretty easy once at the top except for the occasional hill. Great hike overall! Watch out for cow pies!

14.4 miles
It was quite a work out. A lot of up and down along the Ridge trail. It was a very beautiful hike especially along Shady Creek and Sinbad Creek. I also loved the Olive grove, it made me feel like I was in the Holy Land. Expansive views of Pleasanton, Livermore, Mt Diablo, Mission Peak, Sunol Ridge, Interstate 680.
