The Rim Trail is a good hike with lots of short offshoots that give you great views. My wife and our 2 year old daughter hiked it. My daughter rode in a jogging stroller the entire length. We hiked a little over 4 miles of the trails. Very Scenic and a good hike. I know these reviews are very subjective but I gave it 3 stars because I felt the day use fee was high, which was needed to park in the park. $8. I know it's a small amount to pay for a nice hike but most other places were half as much, or free. The other reason for 3 stars was that I felt the different trails and offshoots were not marked very well on the ground. The map we were provided was great, but the signs on the trail were a little confusing and I wasn't sure much of the time where we were in the park or whether we had taken the right branch. Other than those things, it is a beautiful hike.

$8 fee. Worth the amount of beautiful agates I found! They are everywhere! I could have easily spent half a day collecting agates but I arrived late in the afternoon as this was unplanned. The ocean views are incredible. Also saw a few sea stars :)

Nice flat forest trail though busy during tourist season. In winter it’s seldom used. The stone and wooden steps up Ceremonial Rock is a fun climb yielding views. Fun for kids if you’re staying at the PP campground.

First time I did this it was just doing all the little trails at Patrick's Pt. It was on a rough winter day. This time I was there on a nice summery day to look for agates. Did lousy but a great time on the beach on a beautiful day...

Nice easy trail with great views. We took a lot of forks off the main trail to checkout some lookouts and to hike to the beach. We even saw a few seals!

Beautiful walk down to Agate Beach. Agates are all over. Just watch the tide

Very pretty trail, but did not go all the way through. Parts of it were closed. The parts that we did get to see were very pretty with lots of adorable banana slugs and the sound of seals.

Steep hike down trail in disrepair and eroding. Nice small stretch of beach.

What a great trail!! The entire thing and all the little trails that shoot off of it lead to amazing ocean views. Total miles for us was 4.2. Not many ppl since it’s October. Two thumbs up!

Just completed this trail today. Was marveled by the misty mountainside and serene coastline. Saw some sea lions. Easy hike.

This was an absolutely beautiful trail!!! We walked along the rim trail and the looking rock as well. This trail and rim trail are very wheelchair accessible. We were blessed with a very clear day with no fog or wind and there are so many beautiful places to view. Very impressed and will be back again!

Great short hike with beautiful views. Kept our two year old in the pack because of steep cliffs. Bring your binoculars! Lots of harbor seals and other sea life on the rocks down below.

This was a great morning walk. I started near Palmer's Point and walked to Lookout Point. There were many small break off trails that took you to spots to admire views of the ocean. There aren't very many signs along the way but always take the path towards the West and you'll be on the right one, otherwise you end up in the campgrounds our parking lots. No dogs allowed, sadly, but dull a great walk. Take all the smaller trails that are along this trail. The views are worth it.

This is an extremely easy, leisurely hike with beautiful views of the coast. You have to pay the $8 entrance fee for the state park (which is good for the entire day to any of the surrounding state parks) and well worth the views and various trails you can take within the park

Absolutely love this area

Again...one and done. The park in general has some beautiful views of the ocean and some good walks for families or people who are less mobile. Looks like a good place to camp too. Not a place at all to really "hike".

No longer exists.... When I asked the Ranger about the trail she said most of the trees blew down a couple of years ago.

Big surprise today... Trail was filled with a film crew doing a Disney movie. They were filming on Ceremonial Rock. Close to a hundred crew members everywhere on this trail. I turned down an invitation to lunch with the crew from a hospitable member since I had another hike to do in Prairie Creek...

Nice little walk with views. Looks like a decent place to camp but I'll never hike here again. It would be good with kids.

The best part of this trail are all the short trails that veer off for gorgeous views. The rocky ridge trail and wedding rock trail in particular. Some of the trails are closed off, it won't show it on the paper map but in the visitors center it is updated.
