It's a stretch calling this a trail, even for my last butt. Consider it a stroll with some stunning views. this coast is amazing.

Quick little jog to the top. You can climb up the rocks if you’re careful for an even better 360 view

So lush and gorgeous! Take the time to walk down to Muscle Beach and see some tide pools. This is such a stunning place in Northern California

Located At north end of Trinidad about a mile north of Lost Whale Inn. If don’t want to spend $7-8 State park fee, you can park on road and walk in but this will add some distance to your hike along the rim. Rim trail is Great relatively flat out and back trail with a few small hilly sections with some uneven wooden steps, most of which are in side trails. We started at Palmer point and went to Agate and back, just over five miles RT with a few side trails to Patrick’s point, Wedding rock and a few others. Some turns not well marked but hard to get too lost. Go through forest and open air. Recommend side trips such as Patrick’s point and Wedding Rock.

Not really a "trail", mainly just a way to get from the campsites to the beach. That being said, it is clearly marked and pretty easy to get down & up, just be careful if it is raining. It can seem steep if you are out of shape, but it's short enough that it is manageable for most- the gorgeous views along the path definitely help, too! The bottom opens to an awesome agate beach that is definitely worth checking out if you are camping in the area or have a few free hours.

A very nice hike! Some areas were overgrown, but a lot of it was well maintained with a wide trail. Seemed very wheelchair accessible, especially given many breaks to parking lots/the campground road. There were many offshoots up crazy rocks, beautiful vistas, tucked away creeks, and down to beaches. We made this short hike into about 6 miles going on every extra trail we saw.

Didn’t do the whole rim trail, we did a modified trail. And it was awesome. Took my 5 and 7 year old boys and they climbed in ceremonial, lookout and wedding rock. We had a blast

It was about 2 years ago that we went here but it was beautiful even though it was foggy. We did find a few agate on the beach and some purple crab shells too.

Absolutely love it here! Patrick's Point was my first stop on my 25 days to 5 California Parks camping trip. My first time camping in California ever and this beach did not disappoint! https://kindly-kaitlin.com/2019/06/03/five-california-state-and-national-parks-in-twenty-five-days/

I consider this less of a trail for hiking than it is a just a trail to get to a destination. Beautiful views! Large downed tree blocking the main trail, but we navigated around it (with difficulty, as the tree was LARGE and entirely blocking the trail). Looks like some storm damage happened and uprooted several trees throughout the park, as there was a HUGE tree down blocking one of the main campground roads. Just a tip, if you're just visiting and not planning to camp, skip the day use fee and just park on the main road outside of the park instead. We took a narrow and tree lined trail in from the main road to one of the campground roads (that may be Octopus Trail or something like that). We just wanted to visit Agate Beach and didn't want to pay the $8 just for that.

I’ll preface this by saying I am a #unlikelyhiker and really out of shape. Going down the trail was easy and had beautiful views of the beach. Going up was a little challenging, but it was relatively short and manageable. The beach wasn’t busy at all and there were lots of agates.

Beautiful sights including coastal cliffs and an expansive beach. Trail is moderately crowded And goes through campgrounds, which is a minus.

Decent trail, several areas with rock or wooden steps. Wonderful views of the ocean with fog crawling in against the green, rocky coastline.
