Well marked trail. One of the few places you can take your dog off leash on trail. Pup appreciates that, so do I. Some stretches of no shade. Very lightly traveled. Went midday on Saturday and only saw 2 other people on the trail. Mostly dirt/sand. Some asphalt. OK views.

Nice easy walk on a well maintained trail. The trail was relatively quiet for a Sunday. There isn’t much shade and I could see this trail becoming warm quickly.

Not a lot of people

Started at the church on Rios Ave and took the Trail all the way to the Main St. staging area and then up to the Bayshore bike path on Palomar. Headed back the same way and ended on Palm Ave (right next to church) for a decent about 8.5 mile ride. Nothing super steep or technical but a decent workout. Kids might struggle a little w/out a bike with gears. Homeless are there, but nothing like it used to be. Like the earlier post, I've never been bothered/harassed.

nice quiet trail riding along river with lots of trees and green. This is a great out and back without anything technical. Homeless camps are in the area but I have never been bothered.

Lots of colorful wild flowers on this trail.

Well defined trails but homeless encampments blocked the trails in certain spots.

I enjoyed the walk, went under the bridge and got to see some dope art on the wall. Sat and enjoyed the pond, but overall enjoyed the walk.

Trail is nice although some parts of it need to be cleaned. Other than that it's a good trail. kids and dogs are welcomed children should be watched and dogs on leash, snakes do come out. the trail head has different locations, look on the facilities written above.I suggest you read Afoot and Afield is a book about trails in San Diego.
