Beautiful. Take dipsea stairs then right. Take cypress to dead end and continue. Feels longer than 4 miles but really spectacular even for Marin.

Start up the famous Dipsea Stairs to traipse through the mountain community. Lots of funky houses and near the top, you can see the Richmond Bridge on a clear day. A single track leads you up through a redwood forested slope and quite near some more houses. This part of the trail is pretty popular with trail runners and their dogs, just be careful because in many places you can’t really step off trail to let them by. Be advised, a great majority of the trail is on the road itself, so keep an eye out for cars and cyclists bombing the hills! A small parking area leads you over to Cascade Falls. Which thanks to the recent rain has started to perk up, and is a nice place to rest and grab a snack. If you’re looking for solitude, I would go during the week.

Cool trail a little confusing but beautiful.
