very short walk, attached to the Joshua Tree visitor center, attached to this trail is a path that leads to the 29 palms art gallery, where there is a sign that says Native American women used to walk that way to the Oasis to gather water, nothing too exciting on that end of the trail and it's not paved like the regular trail.

Nice cemented walk. Flat and easy. Goes by the fan palms. Went on the ranger walk with Cynthia which made it very worthwhile. She explained a lot of that weren't on the signs. Behind the Oasis visitor center so there is running water in the bathrooms!

GreT for dog walks

Very easy nature trail (wide cement walkway) that recounts the history of the area and sadly notes that the water currently supporting the remaining palms in the oasis has to be provided by the Park Service because the spring that once provided water naturally has dried up due to human activity. Follow the story of two doomed lovers as you walk around the loop.

Simple walk on very easy trail. If you don't see wildlife then you must be in a noisy group because there's always something to see along this walk. Make sure you keep all your senses open because you'll usually hear many varieties of birds too.

Lots of wildlife on this easy nature walk. Quail, lizards, rabbits, & squirrel - make sure to go early or late to see the most wildlife.
