Ehhhh. It was cool. Great view of Shasta and a great 3/4 mile workout. The incline is awesome.

Pretty short hike to a great waterfall, going back up gets your heart rate going but it’s nothing crazy

Came from the lower falls and hiked up. All were very beautiful!

beautiful waterfalls and landscape in general

Epic

We hiked till Horse Camp from Bubby Flat and the hike was great. Easy to moderate level for people who have newbie hikers. Amazing views of mount Shasta and almost all of the trail surrounded with tall trees. Camping needs no reservation ar Horse Camp so would definitely recommend that.

the road to the trail feets only 4×4 ! we were not able to reach it and another private car got stuck on the sand and needed to be rescued

Minimal shade but a pretty easy trail to get such a beautiful site at the end. Upper Falls pleasant but less impressive.

The trail was amazing as usual. However the road from Bunny Flats to Panther Meadows trail head was closed for some reason. So we had to park at Bunny Flats and hike 1.8 miles each way to access the trailhead. Once on trail, and after the fog cleared, incredible views. Definitely go to the end of the trail. The meadow is a great spot for lunch.

Absolutely incredible. Water is cold but great for a dip. Not a lot of people. Super peaceful.

Great short hike with wonderful views of Mt Shasta! Trailhead is right on the main highway so this made a great stop for us driving south from Crater Lake. Just as you pull off from the highway there is a large gate which you have to open to drive or hike through. We parked outside the gate but in hindsight might be better to drive through it and park 30 feet or so beyond it out of sight of the highway - there is space to park there too.

easy hike...amazing finish! took my kids and enjoyed a cold swim too

Beautiful trail...easy to follow with gorgeous views and the most incredible wildflowers! Mt. Shasta is truly magical and this trail is a great introduction to the Mountain ❤️

Easy way to get to Panther Meadows when the road is closed, like now.

Easy to follow the trail. There’s a gate at the parking area, it’s not hard to open but there’s a sign from USFS saying to close the gate behind you. You can drive past it, but I wouldn’t recommend doing so because it is too overgrown and rocky for a vehicle, but the hike was easygoing. Very little shade, but not too bad for the short hike. Small parking area, but there was no one when I went just after midday on a Sunday. Absolutely beautiful views from bottom to top, would highly recommend.

Easy and beautiful hike and waterfall

We went up the mountain from Bunny flat to horse camp. We had to hike over snow almost near horse camp. Manageable with tennis shoes. It was amazing as weather was warm. You get to see closer view of mount sashta glacier peak, tall trees on the way.

I’m writing the review that I wish I’d had before I set off on the road up to the trailhead. The reviews here state that a vehicle with low clearance and two wheel drive is fine to make the drive to the start of the trail. If you have a 2wd vehicle with standard clearance you will make it but it’s a long and very anxiety ridden drive. There are ruts, sandy parts, rocks, washed away sections. It feels like you are driving forever. It’s narrow and I don’t know what we would have done if a car had come the other way. The trail itself is covered in snow for the last 3rd. Take walking sticks. Coming down is a lot of fun as you can slide down the snow mounds. Don’t get too confident though as the trail is hidden and you can get lost quickly. Take into consideration the drive to get there (45 mins from the main road for us). Overall a very nice hike. The friendly baby deer made it for us!

Beautiful short hike for all levels!

This trail started at Bunny Flat trailhead off of Everitt Hwy to Horse Camp. I didn't notice the "recording" of this wasn't working until half way up. There was still quite a bit of snow patches along the way. The Ranger volunteer said that they only a few and could be walked easily. There was more than a few! We were able to traverse them wearing tennis shoes (it was all we had) but should have used better hiking boots or portable keats on our shoes. Nice views. Had lunch at Horse Camp (there are two small wooden benches) but it was still in a snow field. The temp was ~64°F so you didn't need heavy coat.

Beautiful falls

Once you get to the lookout point, you go off the paved trail to the right. There is no sign but it's easy to see the trail as you walk. As you continue you will see staircase and continue hiking until you get to bottom of the waterfall. Amazingly beautiful.

Nice, short hike. Little close to the highway but amazing views

We did Bunny Flat through panther meadow campground (on the hardball) up to Gray Butte. Had lunch on Gray Butte, awesome views up there! Very few people up that high this late in the season, so it was nice and secluded. Gray Butte and back was right at 7.2 miles.

Easy and fun!
