The trail was difficult to follow, went off path several times but eventually found our way

Great trail but I would have gotten lost without the GPS map because there are a lot of intersecting trails. Beautiful views from Sentinel Rock.

Grueling hike but worth it when you get to the summit, breathtaking views of the Bay Area.

The parking fee was $6 when we visited today. This is a great hike! My best friend and I did this as an evening hike and saw a beautiful sunset and a lot of wildlife, including coyotes and deer. The views from Twin Peaks were amazing–you could see all the way out to Suisun Bay! A couple warnings though: • Some areas of the Eagle Peak Trail part of the loop had eroded quite a bit • There were several areas that required an easy rock scramble during the final ascent to Twin Peaks • Parking is $6 • The length of the loop is closer to 4 miles than indicated here

Good elevation variation. Shady creek trail half way through hike, single track 1/2 mile between Wall Point and BBQ terrace stage trails and eye popping views from wall point ridge of Trampas, Solano Napa Counties, Livermore Valley and Mt. Diablo. Go early in the day in the summertime. Great workout with trekking poles.

I was hesitant to hike this trail because temperature registered 92° in Walnut Creek but was well worth it. Hiked with my brother and there were plenty of shaded areas, the cool afternoon breeze helped too. I consumed a lot of water and good thing I brought plenty. Finished right before sunset which was a big plus.

Our first time to hike with my family. Real good rock formations but has lots of graffiti. We got off track because there’s lots of trails even though we used the recording. My family enjoyed the hike immensely. Just watch out for poison oak. The road going up here is winding and not for the faint hearted if you’re scared of heights specially sharing it with bikers.

Go early in the day in the summer. Great trail for all abilities. A few tough hills. Beautiful trail in the flat shady part by the dry creeks.

I think I liked this trail? I liked the general area but have no idea if I was technically on the trail or not. The rock outcroppings were cool though.

Maybe it was just me but the trail was not marked well and the maps from the ranger were not helpful.

This was definitely a fun trail! A bit confusing on some parts but my favorite part was climbing the sentimental rock. A good hike for a day :)
