Cool trail. Views of the lake the entire time. Definitely don't do in the summer and if you can try to be up there with the sunrise. Really Cool.

We went during the week when hardly anyone was there and it was great. The weather was nice, and the air was clear. I brought some sandwiches and juice to have a picnic on the rocks near the end of the trail close to the marina. The crows were a little intimidating but otherwise fine. I would recommend this trail for anyone looking for a super easy hike!

Did the SJRT50K ultramarathon hosted by Fleet Feet Sports out of Fresno. We started at Finegold campground and did a 16 miles out and back. There was also a 100k going on too for those brave souls. The 50k had over 5,000ft of gain with spectacular views of the Millerton Lake crossing 2 bridges. Will definately do this race next year.

Hiked it yesterday and was surprised to still see so many tarantulas out. Also lots of free range cattle out and about. They mostly ran when they heard us. The trial itself was moderate and took us about 2.5 hours after passing the bridge.

I hiked this trail on Thanksgiving day, 2017. The trail was well maintained and easy to follow for the most part. It is very steep in the beginning and at the end of the trail.

The waterfall was dried up when I went, I'm going to come back during the spring to hopefully see that in action.

I'd estimate my time up at about 45 minutes and about 20 minutes on the way down.

Great morning hike and close to Fresno/Clovis.

This was a fun and pretty easy trail. I didn’t care for the $10 parking fee but if it helps to keep the trails in this good is condition it was worth it. We took sandwiches and picnicked on the shoreline rocks. We got to see the promised local wildlife. We saw a bobcat as we first began the trail and several very interesting and noisy large birds, but, the animals we saw the most of were tarantulas. They were fine and easy to go around but my daughter will never go on this trail again.

Beautiful views and a lot of unique spots to stop and have a picnic.

Great trail for horse/mule. Just rode 13 Nov 2017 and cleared fallen trees on trail. Open and ready to ride.

The hike was awesome!! Would definitely do this hike again! There were fat oh tarantulas!!! It says dog are okay on leash, but only by the little park area only. Got lost for a bit too. Lol!!! A lesson we’ll learned!!

Nice trail close to Fresno were you can bring your dogs. The wildflowers are nice in the spring.

The BLM extended this trail all the way to the Gorge. The trail is 14.7 miles one way and if you want you can add the pa'san ridge trail wich is a 8 mile loop.

Super easy hike, and the weather was great. The trail took us about 45 minutes each way to do. There's great scenery of the lake and places to stop and relax and enjoy the water.
