There were lots of people out enjoying the trail, but it was very nice! I enjoyed the views!

Flat off-road trail was muddy but easily passable a few days after heavy rains. You can do about 75% off-road, the rest is paved. Paved path was heavily trafficked with walkers, runners, and bikers.

The trail is paved which makes it easy to walk. It is crowded after 8am on weekends due to it is popular spot for runners. It is nice trail for relax and spend good time.

This is my favorite place to cycle. Its simplistic trail and the beautiful scenic views is just enough to make you feel you are away from the suburban and city living.

Beautiful lake and awesome trail that runs right alongside it! It’s concrete. Some bugs at sunset but that’s usual. Very serene! Moderately busy, bicyclists, skateboarders, families, runners, walkers, and dog walkers can all be seen on the trail.

I took my 8 week old son for a stroller walk. It’s very scenic and easy to maneuver with a stroller. The only downside is that the benches are sporadic so I had to walk a bit to find a comfortable spot to nurse.

Go in the morning or in the cooler months. Not in the middle of the day in late July. Oops.

Walk along the trail or along the sidewalk/roadway. I prefer trail there is part that is road only.

Go early in the summertime, not a lot of shade and too hot for dogs to walk on the asphalt.

Nice for different kind of challenge- walk fast.

A good workout for those wanting a fairly level trail. Most of the trip around the park is on asphalt. Can get busy during the summer months. No user fee, plenty of parking and scenic. Be sure to bring water as it gets humid with not much of a breeze to cool you down. Skaters and bikers can be a nuisance, but for the most part everyone is respectful that visits here. The trail is on city of San Diego owned property. Boating and fishing are allowed at the lake.

Great to get your daily steps in! There isnt much shade so bring tons of sunblock, hats, and gaiters! Nice walking path, no hiking boots needed, just walking or running shoes :-)
