Split this hike up into a two day event. Started late at 9am after getting a walk up wilderness permit at the Roads End station. Be sure to check the weather around this time of year, during our trip we ended up getting caught in two storms. Almost all of the trail is uphill and can start to drag on you if you’re not it shape or used to higher altitudes. The views are spectacular, especially after Upper Meadows, in my opinion. There is plenty of water, just be sure to bring a filter or steri-pen. If you have the time visit Grouse Lake, just be aware of sunburns at the higher altitudes.
