The app was not great keeping up with turns so we went out of our way a few times. Don’t use the app map on this one, it was more intuitive to just follow the trails. A lot of cute little trails scrunched in together, nice for a little trail running and getting some stairs in. Very crowded. Would do again for a quick walk about. Also, really cool views of the city.

Great workout, great views, but the trails seem to run out quickly. I often have to walk them multiple times...but it’s all good because that means more opportunities to see rabbits, squirrels and other little creatures.

Watch out. Part of the trail is overgrown you need to take boyscout loop to finish trail

Dog friendly easy trail. Perfect for a run or light hike in the city. Watch for holes in the trail! Check out the Hummingbird Garden. /A

A lot of the shorter sharp incline trails are closed for habitat restoration.

beautiful views and very clean. a few small lizards but gorgeous landscaping.

The park it's nice but the trail it's short. The best part: the view of downtown Los Angeles. If you want a park to walk and eat, this is fine, but if you have in mind hiking...not really!

Nice place if you want to do a stair master out in Mother Nature!!!! Loved it cause I could feel the burn in my bum as I’m also putting in steps, what more can you ask for. The only thing I can say is there is no shade and if you like to make sure you get a more intense work out you have to do 3-4 times up the stairs and then around down the hill to go back up to make sure you get 3-4 miles.

Nice trail. Night Run 2mi out/back with decent elevation. Watch out for holes!

This is a really good workout, it has stairs almost all the way up. it's a challenge if you're not used to that. very little if no shade. You can also go around the mountain from the top. That's really fun.

Not too long, 45 minutes back and forth, the stairs are very tired, it is not recommended to bring children under 6 years old, come back is a shape of the slope, many people, very lively

Easy walk around lip of an old reservoir with views of sun rise over DTLA and sunset over Santa Monica, get pretty much 360clear views including LAX and oil works. Longer trails available to find this is wonderfully useful resource in the middle of LA. Used and loved by locals. Park area for MLK dedication. Plus can play frisbee golf!

Great for a solo hike, walk or workout

great place for a workout

part of the trail is closed for renewing habitat. but there are alternate routes and trails in the area. great trail.

Charming hike that can either be done via stairs or on a dirt incline path

Great hike to do after work. You can pick concrete path, dirt path or go up the stairs. Lots of people so it’s safe for you to do alone. There are restrooms at the top but they close at sunset. Park at the bottom, it’s metered but free after 6. I like to park a bit further to get the extra mile in since this is a fairly short hike. You can do this 3-4 times to get a better workout in.

a really nice mini workout!

Easy but good quick cardio to get your heart going. My son has been walking to the top of these stairs since he was 1. He is 8 now and he and his friends can run up them

A good workout!

A short hike with a nice scenic view of Los Angeles.

run the stairs to the top! Great views and a good workout!

Great stairs workout! Parking can be a challenge, so try to go during the week. Various options to the top - stairs, paved road. or trail. Nice views at the top as well.

Nice little lunch break hiking adventure in the middle of the city. Lovely panorama city scapes at the top of the mountain. Lots of wildflowers and lizards. Grasslands are dried out already though. Not much shade on most of the trail and overgrown in spots.
