Mostly used by locals. Great off leash dog walk. Beautiful views and river accesses. Some pretty forest-y parts. The wastewater management pond had been under construction for sometime, thus the reek, but has since been completed. Issue gone. Follow the adjacent Hammond Trail north to Murray Rd, and during low tides you can walk the Mad River all the way to Clam Beach. Check out the seal haul out at the mouth of the Mad. Seal pups in March and April. Adorable.

It's ok for a trail in a park.... A few places to get a view of the Mad River but not one that I'll ever repeat... Simply don't understand how anyone could rate this trail around a sewage plant as a 5....... Definetly agree with Dona Townsland even though I didn't smell it but thought it very amusing the no hunting signs.....like I'm going to shoot a sewer duck!

It doesn't look like much at first, but then the well-trodded trail suddenly ends and a small trail goes into the forest... So awesome, as if you're in the middle of nowhere, a thick forest around you. All small trails crisscrossing; you could probably spend hours exploring this gem.

It's nothing to write home about but it's nice to take the pup on. it can be thick so on leash is easier.

The trail is next to the sewage pond and if the wind is coming from wrong direction, it reeks. We were unable to tolerate the smell. It should be called go for a hike in a Porta Potty Trail.

Located around Hiller Park, it's a great place to walk or run your dog off leash while enjoying the beautiful outdoors. Multiple little places to stop along the beach and view the ocean and lagoon. Several trails allow you to shorten the trail and to see different scenery.
