I was here on 5/30/20. Parking lot was closed. I had to parked at Rodeo Avenue and 101 south. It was over 11 miles round trip for me. I was hiking from Rodeo Avenue up about 1 mile with 500ft of the elevation change to Bobcat trail. it is so many different trails up hill, I hiking down to Tennessee Valley and Tennessee Beach and come back, it was about 2,200 ft gain, it is the most spectacular view of the mountains, incredible view of the ocean and indeed of the city. I had everything in one hike. I was able to see Oakland Bay, Tiburon, GGB, SF bay... and a lot more... At Tennessee beach I was climbed up 800 ft to vista point. It is the most amazing relaxing view I haven’t never seen, since no one was there. I will come back here again for HILL 88. Happy hike everyone,

One of the best hiker near to San Francisco which overlooks the ocean and at the same time makes you feel secluded.

Easy and pretty

Pretty trail. No shade. Pretty wildflowers. Steady climb at the end. Good for social distancing. Fair amount of bikes.

cool hike

Loved this hike! This route began with a half mile climb up stairs. Then there is a rather long down hill portion that drops you onto the beach. The second half of the hike was definitely more challenging than the first. A lot of up hill climbing and a ton of stairs. The views make it worth it though!

Very nice and scenic trail!

Good all around hiking and biking trail starts out with some uphill gravel then trancends into dirt with switchbacks and some shortcuts . not too steep and not too long it’s an easy hour and a half round-trip.There is the option to continue to Sweeney Ridge and working way north all the way up to Milagra Ridge or Sharp Park Road you can also drop down to San Bruno via Sneath Lane lots of options and opportunities for both hiking and biking.

Loved this hike! Definitely one of my favorite ones I’ve done. We were able to hike down to the labyrinth and beach which was very cool.

Hiked the trail starting from mori point trailhead next to the orchid gardens (official trailhead). Hikes clockwise. Uphill for first 30ish minutes but good road with lots of space. Very nice along ridge with great views of ocean and bay. Passed the old missile station and Portola discovery site. Way down along a single trail (watch for mountain bikers!!) with lots of flowers and lush green. Steep! Crossed highway to beach and along beach trails. Very nice spots for lunch etc. bring water as no shade along trail.

Actually better than I thought. Nice pretty deserted trail early to get you to Mori point. Once there it started to get a bit more crowded. Gorgeous views. Had to park on the street due to Covid which added a bit of mileage. Some weird areas where you have to cross busy roads but people will stop for you if you wait. Also difficult to find the trail behind the church at first. Go around the blue shed to your right and look left and it’s a bit hidden. After that it’s some steep incline for a mile or so. Great workout overall!

Good trail, nice stop over for lunch at rodeo beach, very empty bc no cars allowed in which was great

Solid trail with views. No shade. Good vegetation to see. Not too difficult. Good for group hiking

Perfect trail/hike for the whole family ! Took our 5 & 6 year old girls for their first hike and everyone did well !

I was here on 5/21/2020 I had no problem with the parking. Easy hike, pretty view of the ocean, a lot of rolling hills, It make the view more spectacular after I get to the top of the hill. Some high inclines, on edge of the cliff and steep made it more fun. A small steam of fresh water rundown from Sweeney Ridge to the ocean, make it more special. You can find them all in this trail. I will come back.

Amazing on a sunny day. More crowded than I’d expect for a Tuesday during shelter in place. Hard to maintain 6ft in some places

On a perfect weather day, it is hard to beat the Lands End coastal Trail. So much to see in such a gorgeous setting.

The road was closed so we can’t get to the trail head with a car. I wish All Trails has a way to let us mark the road closure during COVID19.

Makes it a lot more scenic if you head west along the Farralones View Trail on top of the ridge, but be ready for a solid uphill climb back to Baquiano. Good connection to Sweeney ridge.

Great trail. A little warm and busy today even though we got there early.
