Good all around hiking and biking trail starts out with some uphill gravel then trancends into dirt with switchbacks and some shortcuts . not too steep and not too long it’s an easy hour and a half round-trip.There is the option to continue to Sweeney Ridge and working way north all the way up to Milagra Ridge or Sharp Park Road you can also drop down to San Bruno via Sneath Lane lots of options and opportunities for both hiking and biking.

Loved this hike! Definitely one of my favorite ones I’ve done. We were able to hike down to the labyrinth and beach which was very cool.

Good trail, nice stop over for lunch at rodeo beach, very empty bc no cars allowed in which was great

Great Trail - some good inclines with some over grown areas. We followed the trail and it led us down a very steep hill with a lot of weeds. Also my dog came home with a tick

Awesome trail. Really beautiful forested stairs on the way up. The majority of the trail was wide and had no shade. It was pretty foggy despite being a hot day and I got vertigo at the last strip and didn’t go down hawk camp. Really gorgeous with some decent views.

I was here on 5/21/2020 I had no problem with the parking. Easy hike, pretty view of the ocean, a lot of rolling hills, It make the view more spectacular after I get to the top of the hill. Some high inclines, on edge of the cliff and steep made it more fun. A small steam of fresh water rundown from Sweeney Ridge to the ocean, make it more special. You can find them all in this trail. I will come back.

I came here with a friend to knock off two sections of the Bay Area Ridge Trail - Sweeney Ridge and Milagra Ridge. We did a car shuttle and started at Sneath Lane and walked 10 miles to the end in Pacifica (Palmetto). The morning started out blazing hot with not a breeze and it was somewhat uncomfortable, but as we approached Skyline College, we encountered a wall of cool weather and that made a big difference. Lovely views and lots of little bunnies hopping around! In late May, we still saw a lot of wildflowers here and there.

Amazing on a sunny day. More crowded than I’d expect for a Tuesday during shelter in place. Hard to maintain 6ft in some places

On a perfect weather day, it is hard to beat the Lands End coastal Trail. So much to see in such a gorgeous setting.

Moderately hard hike with beautiful views. I recommend starting at Skyline College, instead of Sneath Lane... the latter has a long winding (paved) hill, and is a less enjoyable hike. The weather is unpredictable and changes quickly. Lots of wildlife - on my most recent hike we crossed paths with a coyote.

Makes it a lot more scenic if you head west along the Farralones View Trail on top of the ridge, but be ready for a solid uphill climb back to Baquiano. Good connection to Sweeney ridge.

Great trail. A little warm and busy today even though we got there early.

Scenic and beautiful!!

Sections of the trail are paved - easy to social distances. Limited shade. Great views the whole way back down

Very beautiful trail with nice scenic views! The trail is dusty with some loose gravels so highly recommend trail shoes instead of casual shoes. Highly recommend a visit here if you’re in San Francisco!

Parking lot is tiny. The trail itself is easy and extremely beautiful. Easy hike with great payoff :)

This trail was beautiful, my son and I both enjoyed it from start to finish. It is kid friendly, there are two ways to enter the trail. One of them is not stroller friendly. We found parking pretty easily. There is also a lot of people walking their dogs, which if you do not like them then this is not the place for you. I will be going back soon. I loved it.

Solid short hike in SF with views of golden gate. Can be breezy so bring a light long sleeve if you get cold easily. Looking to extend outbound? We walked the nearby community (very clean and not typical SF.......) wrap up the trip with brunch or lunch to go from downtown top spots). Lots of parking on main road if you arrive semi early before noon Cheers

A little technical up due to deep ruts. First five miles hard and in the sun. But from other direction to that point is beautiful redwood grove, shade and good for kid.
