- Parking: I started and ended at Land's End Eagle Point. There's usually lots of spots along the road where I began.
- Views: beautiful!
- Traffic: there were a lot of people on a sunny Sunday afternoon. That, combined with the relatively narrow trails, made the walk slower than expected.

awesome hike. many things to see. very dog friendly!

- From Miwok trail to Muir beach: 3.3 miles. Out and back: 6.6 (parked on Marin drive)
- Intense work out with lots of uphills and downhills
- Views: city/north bay and coastal

Love it. Easy and beautiful. I uploaded some drone footage here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Tx-NJojqss

Muir Beach's trails are pretty epic. Drone footage that I took: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NhoNPYTFIEg

Amazing hike ending with a beautiful, Californian, cliffside beach.

Definitely not hard! Some short stints of steepness toward the beginning and end but otherwise pretty moderate. Nice views all around but no coverage FYI. Well marked, wide path that you’ll need to share with many mountain bikers on a nice day!

Nice views, fun to explore and wasnt too hard of a hike.

Stunning, constant views, mostly of the coast. May not really be a moderate for most, more of a moderate-hard.

Beautiful hike that includes histrionic elements along the Nike missile site and the gun battery.

Actually 5 stars. But I had to take one star for the wrong description in this app. We walked clockwise the red line and after maybe one or one and a half mile the trail ends. There were huge plastic covered dirt hills overgrown. So we decided to walk further as adventure and found the path again. You better walk after coming down to that one house don’t walk right like the trail line said. Walk straight left, across the street to a gravel road and try to find the way across the little creek. Behind that creek the trail is fine.

Another point: dogs are not allowed on the entire loop trail. Only the first two miles and the last. Do. We walked as outlaws the entire loop with them. But we wouldn’t have chosen that trail if we had known. Lucky us, the views were great.

Nice hike and eventual views of The Bay Area. Would do again. WARNING: we arrived at 9:30am to the small parking and saw two break ins, broken glass on the ground. Sign clearly says break ins occur often, so leave nothing of value in your car. I think that also goes for arriving early, as plenty of bikers and hikers were around that parking lot all day (as far as we arrived and then left). We parked and felt confident enough with all the folk around, the area was busy. This was also a Saturday.

Great hike with shade. Beautiful views along the coast. Came here on a Saturday morning before 10am and was able to find parking in the Lands End Lookout parking lot. After our hike, cars were waiting around for parking. Highly recommend.

What a cool hike! Fun, challenging terrain with some amazing views of the coastline. We did this as a point-to-point from the Tenessee Valley trailhead to the Pelican Inn (which is pretty amazing in-and-of itself). Strong recommendation.

Pretty hard to believe this trail is a short drive from downtown San Francisco. If you're looking for a hike with some good elevation, wildlife, views of the city and the ocean, this is your trail. The route makes its way along Pirates Cove offering incredible views of the rock cliffs. The best part - you can grab a cold one at Pelican Inn right off Shoreline Highway (CA 1) or hang out at Muir Beach. Those interested in a one-way hike (or if you get too comfortable at Pelican Inn) can easily catch a ride back to the parking lot in Tennessee Valley.

Such a beautiful hike. well worth the views!!! I am in no way fit.... just started hiking recently and actually found this one pretty easy.....

Wonderful place. Relaxed easy hike. Better on weekdays

just hiked it yesterday. nice views, but I never did find the waterfall mentioned above.

Gorgeous views. Do the leftmost path first for amazing views and then take the right path for the old fort wall and the hidden trail up to the cliffs and the graffiti houses. Spectacular and exciting!

Absolutely amazing.

I did this hike on my own, it was great. The weather was perfect and the views are outstanding. Totally doable, but an excellent work out.

Rodeo Valley Trial does NOT allow dogs! I almost got a ticket, but thankfully a couple with dogs warned me they just received a ticket from the park ranger ahead and I was able to turn around in time. I started from Bunker Road and went up the Rodeo Valley Trial. The mile I made it along the the trial was chill. Tons of cyclists there.

Great trail, however I wish to do it again on a weekday because it was too crowded the closer you got to Tenessee Beach. There are various off shoots along the upper part of the hill that are much more scenic and beautiful in my opinion. Perfect hiking weather early April

Sundays are quite busy, but Mondays this trail is nearly empty. There are a lot of wildflowers and it is currently early April. beautiful trail.

You’ll park in the neighborhood then walk up a long driveway to the trail. Starts off steep, ends steep on the way back. Moderate hike overall. The fog was rolling in and laying perfectly on the canyon and when we arrived to the beach it was perfectly sunny! gotta love Mt Tams micro climates :) beautiful day!

Gorgeous views - definitely very busy but the scenery makes all the traffic worthwhile

Beautiful and relatively relaxed trail that goes inland and to the beach.
