Great hike ..although I was unable to see the Point Bonita Lighthouse (closed) open Sun-Mon 1230p-330p . Weather was wonderful , not that much people traffic . Counterclockwise.

This hike offered a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge both with fog and once burned off. Lots of people but the visitor centre staff were very helpful. It was easily accessible by city transit so no parking problems.

Great ocean views

Went to brake in some new boots. Trail was more of a road and it was pretty busy. Nice variety of terrain and views.

Easy hike with nice side excursions to the beach or to an overlook but it is very heavily traveled what with bus after bus of tourists coming into the visitor center parking lot.

Amazing views, would recommend hike after 1pm to let the fog die down and get a better view of the Golden Gate bridge.

Spectacular views first half. Trail signs confusing. Need to follow Miwok trail at highest point. Need to read front and back of signposts as relevant trail information is only on one side

I like that you get the uphill part out of the way first thing by starting from Shell Dance. Also that you get both an urban and ocean view walking the ridge. Not a fan of the slippery scree a on the down parts. This is a great workout for trail running.

A lovely trail with beautiful views of the Golden Gate. It was so quiet and peaceful. The only sounds were the ocean and pure silence. Not too crowded, either.

Enjoyed the trail and views but it sucked that it was foggy. Couldn’t see the golden gate whatsoever.

Lands end is like one of the regulars. This is a popular spot so there is lots of people. It’s a little rocky at times and has lots of stairs which I like to sprint. There is beautiful scenery of the beach. This trail is a simple walk so if you want something scenic and simple I would recommend. Check it out.

Came on a Sunday from Sacramento. Very busy on the trails and the beach. Lots of separating points where you can escape most of the crowds. Good views of the coastline. Stopped numerous times for pictures. Good day overall.

Very foggy & first part of hike due to the incline was pretty difficult. But once you got up the hill it was pretty easy & even takes you to a paved path if you wanted to do that.

Graffiti wall is destroyed.

Awesome hike. Was about 9 miles. Great views of the water. It was busy with other hikers throughout. The last couple miles there were a ton of people.

Outstanding.. so crisp and clear, so encouraging and fun.. also.. lower levels of the trails are packed with people after 10am
