Gorgeous hike! Nice challenge but not prohibitively so. Great views of rodeo beach, sf and Marin.

Nice for a quick day trip or exploring

Amazing hike with great views.

The trailhead is on a very narrow street that looks like a driveway.

Hike begins with views of Tiburon, Sausalito, and parts of SF. Then turns to views of the ocean.

Lightly trafficked trail but does get busier as you get closer to Muir Beach.

Dog friendly.

Tough first half

From the Rodeo Beach parking lot go clockwise: Coastal Trail - Wolf Ridge Trail - Miwok Trail - Rodeo Valley Trail - parking lot. Personal rating: good hike to repeat, moderate level, not long, 1 hr 45 min, beautiful views.

This is my first longest trail route. It has lot of trails inside you may end up going into some other route ensure you can carry gps trackers. In this trail route you will see golden gate and Pacific Ocean. Good for moderate level hikers to start with hard levels

Love this loop and generally not too many people

Good hike but would be hot in summer as the ridge is exposed with little shade. Dogs loved it and few ticks...

great trail! steady continuous up hill climb bit very ridable.

Great hike, definitely not dog friendly though :(

Good out and back hike. Starting at Big Rock the trail is all uphill for 3.5 miles. The elevation change is moderate and provides a good workout but not a difficult one.. Beautiful vistas of Lucas Valley the entire way. Not much shade cover.

Beautiful views the whole way through.

One of the most challenging yet amazing hike thus far! Bring more than 2L of water with you on any sunny day

Amazing views!!! Definitely a great choice for a hike with some friends.

Good trail, a little confusing getting in as you walk through the zen center/farm but it's worth the view of the Ocean.

The direction here will take you to a wrong address which is the other side of the mountain where DOG IS NOT ALLOWED. If you want to do the loop where dog is allowed you will have to go to Marine Headlands Visitor Center. The lady rangers here were nice enough to let us know and gave us the right direction but the guy ranger was rude even after we let him know the lady already let us know that dog is not allowed in our way out.
