Amazing on a sunny day. More crowded than I’d expect for a Tuesday during shelter in place. Hard to maintain 6ft in some places

On a perfect weather day, it is hard to beat the Lands End coastal Trail. So much to see in such a gorgeous setting.

Great trail. A little warm and busy today even though we got there early.

Scenic and beautiful!!

Very beautiful trail with nice scenic views! The trail is dusty with some loose gravels so highly recommend trail shoes instead of casual shoes. Highly recommend a visit here if you’re in San Francisco!

This trail was beautiful, my son and I both enjoyed it from start to finish. It is kid friendly, there are two ways to enter the trail. One of them is not stroller friendly. We found parking pretty easily. There is also a lot of people walking their dogs, which if you do not like them then this is not the place for you. I will be going back soon. I loved it.

Solid short hike in SF with views of golden gate. Can be breezy so bring a light long sleeve if you get cold easily. Looking to extend outbound? We walked the nearby community (very clean and not typical SF.......) wrap up the trip with brunch or lunch to go from downtown top spots). Lots of parking on main road if you arrive semi early before noon Cheers

A little technical up due to deep ruts. First five miles hard and in the sun. But from other direction to that point is beautiful redwood grove, shade and good for kid.

The part to Skyline is a bit overgrown. I would explore entering from a different trail.

Is the trail back open?

Narrow and busy even during cover-lots of people without face masks and being idiots taking picture blocking middle of the trail.

Main parking lot was closed due to Covid, but we found parking along the street near the Cliff House. The trail was beautiful and had a little of everything, slight inclines and stairs. The break off to Lands End Labrinth was awesome and worth the steep stairs on the way back out. My daughters, ages 13 and 9, were impressed with the views. Definitelyan enjoyable half day!

Absolutely one of the most beautiful hikes in the city. Went today, plenty of parking around the Cliff House. People on the trail but it only felt crowded now and then when the trail narrows in places. Even a good number of folks mulling around on Ocean Beach with patrol driving right by, not asking folks to leave. Wonderful place to visit whether you're a tourist or you live here like us.

Simple trail, 2 hours non stop with only elevation at the beginning and end. Miwok has better views.

Made the full loop today as the fog burned off in the mid afternoon (minus the Sutro Baths loop). Stopped off at the Legion of Honor Museum parking lot (also blocked off for Covid restrictions) and we were treated to the top of one of the Golden Gate Bridge pillars peaking out of the fog! Back at the upper parking lot lookout, we got to see the bottom half of the bridge. Lovely day. Lucky to find a tiny parking space on adjacent Seal Rock Dr. for our little Prius.

Great afternoon hike - moderate elevation and stair climbs. Beautiful views and some history placards.

OPEN DURING COVID-19 (As of 5/9/20) Nice hike with beautiful views of Sausalito and the Bay. Just be careful, it gets very cloudy and windy in the afternoon as the fog rolls in. The temperature dropped at least 20 degrees from 4pm to 5pm. Great for mountain biking as long as you're comfortable with some hills. It's definitely more of a moderate hike as there's quite a bit of elevation gain. Be sure to wear sturdy hiking shoes. There's only a small parking area just off the 101 at Rodeo Ave with room for only two cars, but it's legal (I think) to park along the road (not the highway!). We did, and had no problems. This is one of the few hikes we could find in Marin County that was still OPEN during COVID-19.

Great Views! you get to see so much of everything. Black sands beach is beautiful. The trails are very versatile, a mixture of flat, LONG stairs, and some rocky trails, and downhills. will really get tour heart going. We walked past an old military bunker? i think? with tunnels, the kids loved it.
