The view from anywhere on the trail and at the Muir Beach Overlook is amazing! The hike itself is pretty short. Up and back type trail. It was really nice that it wasn’t crowded. It would be kinda tight if there were a lot of people though.

Easy to get to. Free parking. Get there early (before 8am) parking can get crowded after 8:30 / 9. Popular among runners. great views overall.

There is so much to see and it is fairly easy for everyone to do! The cave is definitely something you can’t miss!

Great family hike. Fun beach at the end for kids to splash in the puddles

Gorgeous hike! Nice challenge but not prohibitively so. Great views of rodeo beach, sf and Marin.

This trail map should not include Point Bonita Trail. There's not a direct way to get from the Wolf Ridge-Lagoon Loop to Point Bonita without walking on the side of the road and through parking lots. Also, while the Miwok/Coastal/Lagoon trails are all dog-friendly, the Lighthouse Trail is definitely not. Just cut off the Lighthouse trail from this map and you've got a perfect day hike loop. A lot of confused people go into the park looking for the "Marin Headlands Loop trail" but won't find that. Just look for the Miwok or Lagoon trails to get started.

Beautiful ocean views!! Just know it's not dog friendly at the Lighthouse. They will turn you away if you try to see it with your pup.

Easy trail for the whole family

Great views! Awesome historic military bunkers

Spectacular views indeed, but you walk next to a road almost the entire time, which personally I don't consider a particularly nice hike.

Amazing hike with great views.

Gorgeous views!

The trailhead is on a very narrow street that looks like a driveway.

Hike begins with views of Tiburon, Sausalito, and parts of SF. Then turns to views of the ocean.

Lightly trafficked trail but does get busier as you get closer to Muir Beach.

Dog friendly.

Beautiful view!
