We enjoyed the hike. Enjoyed the views and single track hike. Lots of animals, birds and butterflies out. Forest got some love at Hunters point (not on but nearby the loop).

Good morning walk. Parking is very limited.

This hiking trail is very easy to reach. Today I saw three coyotes passing in front of me about 100 feet away in the star ridge trail. it's amazing to see these wild animals but also a little bit surprised as star ridge trail is surrounded by prestigous houses and city streets. A hiker later I met in star ridge trail told me he saw coyotes in this part of trail too.

This trail is a little unusual than most other trails. First of all it wanders through prestigious Saratoga hill mansions. Then few sections connect with city streets that need help of GPS to walk city street to next section of trail. One branch of trail walks along the Saratoga country club that gives you beautiful lush green view. Also the initial segment has a very steep slope that takes about 7 to 11 minutes of climb. You can also visit Wedding trail which gives you gorgeous vineyard view of Garrod farm. I also ran into three horseback riders on the intersection of Toyon and Bay view trail. Overall all, this trail along with other neighbor trails provide many surprises.

easy trail. parking is limited on weekends. view of South Bay.

Good leisurely 2-3 hr hike in the morning to wake up.

Great hike. The first part is uphill for some time but it is worth it for the view!

Adding the short segment in Fremont Older Preserve to the summit of Nob Hill (1140') will make this hike in Parker Ranch that much more enjoyable. The moderately difficult hike is through dirt trails much of the way. The steep hill in the beginning (gaining 250' in about 2/10 of a mile) will get your heart rate pumped up.

From the main parking lot, we added a side trip to Rainbow Knoll and back to complement the popular Seven Springs Loop & Hunter's Point. This is a moderately tough hike, best experienced in spring and fall or cool summer days. Trails will be muddy in winter.

Popular with locals, Parker Ranch Trail in Saratoga can offer a respectable workout, nice views of the city scape and an alternate entry point into Fremont Older Preserve. Our 4 mile hike includes a loop in a minor variation of the featured hike.

Fremont Older is a popular hiking and mountain biking destination. The dog friendly (dogs-on-leash) location offers very nice views of Stanford, the peninsula portion of the SF Bay from Hunter's point and along the way. We had done a very small variation of this 6.1 mile loop, stopping by both Hunter's Pt and Maisie's Peak and skirting Nob Hill by Garrod Farms.

Nice short hike to get your heart beat up. Views are good too!

Fun hike in the morning with a bunch of other friendly hikers/bikers. Saw an abundance of deer and lizards scattered across the trail. Be careful as both sides of the trail has poison oak that is prominent throughout the trail. Very fun!!!

HIke was easy. A lot of people in the area so YYMV depending which trail you take. One thing to note, however, parking can be very limited.

I have done this hike regularly for the last twelve years, as it's close to my house and dogs are allowed on the trails. It's a great hike with beautiful views and just the right amount of hills to be a workout. I prefer the Creekside Trail route at the beginning and end though. The only downsides are:
1) The treeless section as you climb the hill can be deathly hot in summer.
2) This same section can be deeply muddy and rutted from bikers after a rain.
3) Seven Springs Trail is narrow in sections and can get very busy on weekends, especially with bikers.

This was a great hike! Beautiful scenery, and it was a pretty quiet trail, although there were a few others. The trail was pretty muddy in areas, due to the recent rain.

Beautiful trail with some amazing views! The trail is pretty narrow so be aware of bikers racing around the corners.. Other than that 5/5
